The actual apartment is nicely remodeled. The grounds are not kept well as far as trash, and cleanliness. Complaints to management are brushed off. Fees in addition to rent are excessive, without explanation.

    We have had a rocky road with being in this community. Trash services always have been horrible. Currently paying valet trash (which is not optional), but they do not come everyday. So we have noticed more ants and roaches. Which will lead to my next concern of baby roaches, water bugs and normal size roaches being up under the fridge. We complained and got the pest control persons to come out and spray, but the leasing office advise was to go out and buy some traps and sprays until Wednesday's, when pest control is scheduled to come out. I pay $7 in pest control fees. We feel they should be out every week spraying around the apartments, not when needed. We have found little baby roaches in the freezer dead, on kitchen floor and sometimes in the bathroom, which is nasty. We clean house every 2 days for our kid. 2 weeks is coming up and I had complained about the roaches again and not 1 time has pest control came by.       Unfortunately I have had to contact the leasing office via tenant portal and face to face due to major issues TRASH collection the trash stay out in breezeway for a week it smelled like the city dump soon as you walk up the steps per April she would look into it. The Breezway FILTHY I've been told over and over for the past year it will be pressure washed the walls step are horrible. The safety terrible car break in people hanging out we hours of the morning when I'm leave for work. I spoke with a Paulding officer who advised me of the complaints in this complex. I pay my rent on time every month and get no results s from the office.

        My experience has been good so far the neighborhood is really quiet and I love the pool area. The only thing that I did not like was when I moved in my apartment wasn't cleaned there were juice stains in the refrigerator. Cabinets were broken were cleaned and when moving into apartment, I shouldn't have to clean up after the people that left before me.

          Our experience at Halston has been mixed, to put it nicely. Although the apartment itself has been decent to live at, the service from the office has not been great. We have continually had new fees added, including valet trash which was not asked for and has had terrible service (half the time we've tried to use it, they don't pick it up). The mailboxes were broken open at one point, which caused the USPS to refuse to deliver, and none of this was communicated by the front office until we asked them directly. Have had multiple envelopes already open by the time we get our mail. In the time we've lived there, I've paid on time every single month, except once where the phone app updated and changed my autopay, which caused me to be a day late in payment and cost me $200 late fee. When I asked the front office to remove the fee due to the understandable issue and my otherwise spotless record in paying, they flat out refused.             Very terrible it looks like a junkyard here so many vehicles that just taking up space.Kids that aren't in school allowed to just run over your head during rest times...The roaches in the not updated Apts a horrible they're in the refrigerators and bathrooms of course no one eats in the bathrooms...Complaints of roaches in the newly updated Apts also this is just a horrible place to live in peace.We are and older couple moving to another location is kind of hard.After complaining to the management the problem still exist after three consistent yrs of paying rent on time.Do not move here it's a financial risk.....

              Management doesn't care about you or your requests. They're simply here to collect money from tenants. I've lived here over 6 years and since Halston took over the employees have become rude, confrontational and the company has turned greedy. This will be my last lease.

                    Roach infestation had to buy products because extermination only visited monthly. Fire alarms rang. No one answered phone. Had disabled person in apartment. I will not renew lease. Garbage pickup is horrible.

                      Pleasant to the day so far. Repair request are timely and fast. The property is cleaned daily by the staff on hand. They are friendly with a wave as you pass daily. Pool open year round which is good as the weather doesn't get very cold for many months.

                        It's nice but the gate is broken alot. Also the lighting at night it's dark because all of the outdoor lights don't work. We have valet trash that doesn't pick up every night. Sometimes when there is work being done that requires something to be cut off there is no notification to the tenants. The property security officer can never be reached the times I called.

                          The fees that are added to the rent were high when I first moved in. It's never discussed that these will be added on top of the rent The workout room and pool are closed and I have to pay all year for something that can't be used.                             My experience has been below average, all repairs take several time to be ridged but not fixed. The manger April does not like me. She had a person visiting her arguing with me in the mail room who does not work her but she is in my business, what happened to confidentiality? Why is she in company business. I have lived in this complex for many years moved out, moved back in in June. I have not received the garbage can yet, but I am forced to pay for garbage pick up every month. I do not like my packages being put at the office, even though I have it to be placed bought to my door because I am handicap. They tell me the office said they have to leave them up there at the office, there is a lot of things wrong with the management of this property.                               This place is declining rapidly. Concerns are dismissed/ignored. Gate is busted through and broken weekly and mail is stolen regularly. The pot and cigarette odors are the worst I’ve ever had to live around. Please look elsewhere, the staff is lazy and rude. Maintenance guys act like they hate their jobs. Nobody wants to be here.

                                This community has drastically declined, while fees have increased. The property is full of trash and stray cats. Valet trash leaves a trail of trash when they decide to pick up the trash. The breezeways are often dark and dirty, even though we are charged a maintenance fee. Front office is useless most of the time. Local police are being called several times a month for various reasons.

                                  From the time I moved in, in July 2023, I've had issues. From floods to stolen packages and rude customer service from the front office staff,. I've had the sheriff call on me for not answering my door while I was sick with COVID in bed on a Sunday before 8am. I can't wait to leave and will not encourage anyone to move here. I've asked for the number from corporate and was told that I couldn't have it. Please read Google reviews. This place is also roach-infested, and they leave appliances outside for over 3 weeks. I pay over $2000 a month, and I hate it here. The front building seems to be well maintained but once you get past the trash point there's trash and stuff on the ground and on the road.

                                      When I moved in the apartment was DISGUSTING. I had to thoroughly clean it before I could start unpacking, the tubs were stained, the windows are so streaked that I cannot clean it off. I was very disappointed when I moved in. I randomly get charged for a fee that I have proven I don't need to pay for, the gate rarely works and my gate code periodically stops working, plus it's roach infested and I have mold growing on my window seals. The staff is friendly but that's it.

The pros: maintenance staff responds quickly to all of my requests, and the staff at the office is friendly.                                               This community is not safe. The entrance gate stays open while the exit gate stays closed. Broken glass in parking spaces Residents can't trust package delivery because the mail package delivery room is not secure. It doesn't lock properly. Light in breezeway has never been fixed. This creates safety issues, both in terms of fall risk as well as attraction of crime. Overflowing trash compactor, attracting pests. We are asked to block out specific days for repairs to be made, then the contractors never show up, then the work orders are marked as complete. In the meantime, I've lost pay, waiting for the contractors. Then work orders are deleted where the resident cannot view work order history. A neighbor that plays night club, level, music, repeatedly, despite repeated complaints from multiple neighbors.

                                              When I first moved into the apartment, I had a troublesome experience. It was highly stressful. The agent that I was working with informed me that I was conditionally approved and the appropriate balances would be posted online. After over a month, all balances were taken care of and I solidified my apartment and moved on my move-in date. When I went to move into my apartment, the agent then informed me that before I could move in, I had to pay additional fees. This was extremely troubling to me because I had been in constant communication with the office to avoid any hiccups because I was moving from over 4 hours away. Afterwards, there have been a series of concerning events. The entry gate to the apartment was broken for months and when it finally was fixed, I had misplaced by key. Due to the nature of situation, I would expect the apartment to waive some of the fees since we had been without the appropriate features of the apartment for so long.
