We've been residents for 6 months and in that time we've had service requests for a leaky dishwasher ignored, encounters with weirdos at the pool, cockroaches and other insects crawling in under the doors every time it rains and then today they threatened to tow my truck because it's been parked in the same space for 3 weeks (my wife and I carpool and the truck, which runs and moves under its own power but needs minor repairs had been in the same spot for a few weeks since I chose not to drive it) When I approached the staff about the tow warning placed on the truck the lady who we signed our lease with was very helpful and explained to me clearly why I would need to move it, which is fine even though I was NOT in a no parking zone and had purposely parked out of the way so that other residents can park in front of the building. I thought the matter was settled as I agreed to move the vehicle on Monday after the part I was waiting on arrived. As I was leaving however, some beast of a woman came out of the office to lecture me on moving my vehicle and demanding that I guarantee I would move it immediately. Her tone and professional manner were unacceptable for someone who deals directly with the consumer. For $1200 a month, residents should not be harassed about parking in designated resident parking for a few weeks. There are no signs indicating residents cannot park long term in their own parking lot. And do you know what she said when I asked if they'd tow my car if I went away for vacation for 3 weeks? YUP! Terrible complex, trash leasing staff (except the one lady) AND IF YOURE A RESIDENT DONT GO ON VACATION BECAUSE THEY MIGHT TOW YOUR CAR AWAY. Avoid Lake Lanier Club!
