Outdoor areas are not taken care of or cleaned. Battery operated door locks die very quickly & maintenance does not change them before they die. Apartment complex also provides internet, but it is unreliable and frequently does not work.

After being in my apartment for 10 years, getting basic updates was difficult, and only done after an additional raise to the monthly rent. When asking about a paint update, again, after a decade in the same unit, I was told I could do it myself, but would have to purchase the supplies and paint myself as well.

Overall I've been pleased with my apartment, but the main issue is having the apartment updated (as new rentals would be) and having loud neighbors. Also, the community management may want to look into enforcing residents to leash their dogs, as my dog as been attacked, while on a leash,, by neighbors' dogs not on leashes.
