This is too expensive

Dont live here. The rent is too expensive. You can expect to pay around $700 for a 1 bedroom. I have friends who have an apartment in North Macon and only pay $650 for a 2 bed 2 bath. They will raise the price and change lease terms once you live there. The lease terms are outrageous. There is a $300 pet fee for pets from 0-35 pounds. So if you have a turtle, guess what, you are paying $300. It doesnt matter if its in a cage. The apartment people make you pay a carpet cleaning fee when you move out whether you have a pet or not. They have holdover lease fees for $250! The staff will hold your boxes and large packages and not tell you that you have mail to pick up. The apartment does have a gym and a pool. The pool is small and always swarming with children. There are other places to live that are just as nice and you dont have to worry about being overcharged and having unfair lease terms. Good luck!
