Very Disappointed
We have lived here for about a year now and let me say that this place has REALLY gone down hill since we moved in. They do NOT maintain this property at all. The fencing around the basketball/tennis court is a huge danger because of all the metal sticking out from the fence. There has been an area of the pool that has been broken since the middle of last year and instead of fixing it, they just keep an orange cone in the area. The office staff is so rude. It's like a bother any time you have to ask them a question. We were paying $915/month in rent, which I thought was reasonable. But we were informed that rent was going up to $940 because they felt that was the "true market value" of these apartments. Ha! The "value" of these apartments has gone down because they just don't care enough to do the upkeep. The only reason we signed another lease here was because there was no other apartment place that had availability with 3 bedrooms. So sad that we're stuck here for another year. I've even asked who I can contact at their corporate office to discuss matters and was told that I couldn't contact them. Also, we have had items stolen many times from the area in front of our apartment. The area is "ours" according to the apartment place, but many times we've had things taken from there. I've NEVER seen this addressed in their monthly newletters. What they don't understand is that you just can't built an apartment complex and asume it's going to run smoothly or maintain itself. There is one good thing I can say about living here and that's the officer they have living on this site. We have had to call him a couple of times for noise from our neighbors in the middle of the night. He's always been very courteous and prompt in dealing with those situations. I wouldn't recommend living here. It's just not worth the money. There are other places for less that are MUCH nicer. Also, they don't answer the phone in the office. You're redirected to voicemail or a centalized place or it hangs up on you. Completely ridiculous. It's like they do what they need to do to get you in here and then they treat you horribly.4/19/2012
