Please make sure you read ALL of the reviews of this apartment before you decide living here. The ones on the first page seem great, but you should read the others as well. Our experience here has been awful, and we cannot wait to move out. My boyfriend and I have lived here for a little less than a year and we have had an absolutely miserable experience here. We loved the look of the place, and wanted somewhere gated, so we chose this place. Unfortunately, not too long after we moved in it turned into a nightmare. We have been dealing with a ridiculous legal issue brought against us by the manager concerning the alleged "damage of a television cable." We have been dealing with this for months and it has caused us a lot of grief and financial stress. The manager is rude, irrational and a flat out bitter woman. We haven't been able to deal with her, so I tried to contact the owner. He was rude as well, and acted as if my concerns were just a waste of his time, so he brushed me off. They don't follow the rules they set forth in their contract, but they watch everyone 24/7 on the cameras around the property and slap you with legal charges if you step one toe out of line. I went to pay rent one day(during business hours) but the door was locked. The manager was watching me through the window as she smoked. Instead of putting it out and coming to collect the rent from me, she decided to finish her cigarette while I stood at the door. Eventually I got tired of waiting so I put it in the drop box. Also, maintenance has come in our apartment when we have had no maintenance requests put in. Luckily my boyfriend was at home when he did. The worker didn't even knock. He just came right in, and said "Oops, thought you were at work." When our gate code didn't work, we emailed the manager about us getting a new key for it. She never got back on touch with us. I also asked for a copy of our lease 4 times before I received it. This is a pretty place, but be cautious of moving here. Make sure you read every word of the contract, and meet the manager before you sign. Best of luck to you.
