The stairways and floors of the apartment are always dirty. There are resident that always leave behind broken/unused items or trash in the common areas or hallways. WiFi doesn't always work and isn't reliable. I think charging $25 for parking is unnecessary as residents already pay so much for rent. Only good thing is location.

I've enjoyed my time at Aspire at West Campus. Having a bus route only a 4 minute walk from my apartment is very nice, and makes getting to work so much easier. The staff is prompt and helpful. I love having the dog park here since I'll be getting a dog of my own soon. I only wish there was a pool for the price I'm paying compared to other complexes in the area

Convenient place, with a gym, community center and walking/biking paths. Lots of parking and all the staff is friendly. The units are nice and fairly modern, my only complaint is there is carpet in the room but that is a personal preference. Overall good place to live

Aspire has an amazing community of residents, frequent well-run events for socializing, an amazingly responsive and professional maintenance crew, and a phenomenal location in the city with great access to public transit. Though the units themselves are slightly smaller than others available in the city, the price and amenities more than make up for it. This is a great place to own a dog, as the pet community here is also phenomenal, and the amount of greenery in between the buildings is perfect for both pet owners and other residents alike. I highly recommend Aspire for a multitude of reasons.

It is good, most neighbors are quiet - except during sports games. I don't know if there's anyway to prevent this, but the fire alarms go off too much, every single time there has not been a fire requiring evacuation. There's plenty of square footage in the property, being in the midwest they should build an underground shelter during tornados. This would be beneficial if I had a 2 hour long exam that day, and the only time I could take it is during the storm, which I could do under the shelter with wifi. I kinda wish people who leave dog poop behind - often right near apartment doors - were/more penalized for it.

It's a very good place to live with friendly staff. It's relatively quiet. I do think it's a bit over priced for the items provided but it's a quality living space. Receiving mail and packages is convenient and efficient.

It has been good so far except cleaning was not done before moving-in, and I requested no pet unit but they assigned me an unit that a tenant had a pet, and their re-assigned me another unit, but a former tenant had a pet and had to deal with pet's hair everywhere when cleaning was not properly done.

Between the attentive staff in the office, professional maintenance team, and convenient bus system, Aspire has been such a nice place to live while attending school! I was lucky enough to be assigned a wonderful roommate too, which has made the experience all the better. Whenever I've had an issue, I could reach out to the respective team and they would help me how they could. Great place!

Overall very nice community. Seems a bit too expensive for what they have. Parking is horrible. I pay $50 a months for my two vehicles and we rarely get to park by our building. Time actually honor the residents only parking signs and tow the violators. If we are paying for parking maybe assign space numbers.

Overall, our experience living at Aspire has been very good. I think it is the best value for couples/families. The exercise room is really only good for cardio--machinery is broken most of the time. The charge for parking is a rip-off. However, maintenance responds very quickly and the staff are all very kind and welcoming.

Aspire is well maintained, safe, peaceful. I've had maintenance requests taken care of very quickly and with good results. The staff are friendly and helpful. And it was super easy to sort out virtual tours, leases, and other logistical hiccups from overseas when I was trying to choose a place as an international student.

The year I have been living at aspire has been great! allows me to live in a renovated apartment, while still being able to be close to campus and also allows for me to do all of my daily activities right at the apartment complex as needed! The bus also comes right to the complex which is super convenient.

This apartment was very convenient when it comes to being close to Iowa's campus. The bus stops multiple places near the apartment is again is very convenient. I liked how there was a washer and dryer in each unit.

Good and satisfying. Aspire is located in a very convenient location where the main campus bus (Cambus) passes through in a regular interval. Market and downtown area are also near by. Service in Aspire is excellent.

Aspire is great for professionals and scholars at the University of Iowa. There is quick cambus service and the maintenance staff is highly efficient. All in all a good option for short term stay in Iowa city.
