You will be better off elsewhere. This is not a hospitable living enviro
Recently the newspaper and local television stations have covered the sudden, unexpected exit of two retail building tenants. I live in this building, and the words of the restaurant owner ring true. While I do not know the details of the dispute, I well know that the owner of the property, Michael Talbott of Vida Properties, is far more devoted to the bottom line than to the interests of his commercial and residential tenants. This can be seen in a number of ways. For example, the turnover rate of the commercial tenants is exceeded by the turnover of on-site building management. This lack of continuity has lead to confusion and misunderstandings that are left to the on-site managers to sort out, yet they have no authority to actually initiate change. In other words, Talbott hires people to bear the brunt of the problems his greed causes, and then he casts them aside or they quit rather than deal with his tyranny. Another example would be the woefully inadequate parking situation. Guests and restaurant patrons are forced to park in a frequently muddy, messy parking lot and are often left with parking tickets on top of their restaurant tabs. I could go on, but the point has been made. If you are considering moving into this building as a retail or residential tenant, I would encourage you to look elsewhere. Working with Talbott and his minions is not likely to end well for anyone other than Talbott and you may be left holding a very expensive bag. Or, in the case of this restaurant, you may be forced to hire a layer just to be able to recover your property. Recently two restaurant tenants in this property closed abruptly. One restaurant owner was interviewed on TV and detailed how he was locked out of his business and denied access to his property that remained inside the restaurant.
