I'm so sorry to hear you've had so many issues here at The Aventine. As I'm sure you're aware, we've had quite a few staffing changes over the past couple months, and our new Community Manager, Maria, would love to sit down with you over a cup of coffee and go over everything. Your original leasing agent is no longer here, so we can't say for sure what he did or didn't tell you about monthly fees, but we never intend to hide anything. We always want our residents to be as informed as possible when they sign a lease. We have had some issues with mail and package delivery, and are constantly working with UPS, FedEx, Amazon, and USPS because this is a frustration for us as well as our residents. We do have a 24-hour electronic package system that all delivery drivers are supposed to be using. We do our best to catch all drivers and make sure they know how to use the system, but with Amazon especially there are new drivers nearly every day so it's a constant battle. If you ever have a missing package please let us know and we can try to track it down for you. Our residents' safety and security is one of our top priorities, so if you ever feel unsafe or see illegal activity please let us know immediately. We have a 24/7 emergency line. I would also suggest contacting Aurora PD so they can open up their own investigation or even patrol the area more frequently. We looked into your account and see that you've requested maintenance 5 times total, the past two to report insect activity. We were out twice in May to spray for bugs, but we don't see anything notifying us that it was still an issue. If you have called or emailed us and we haven't gotten back we do apologize and we'd be more than happy to look into that disconnect. The fact that you live on the 1st floor doesn't help, but we will do what we can to eliminate as many bugs as possible and keep them from coming back.
