I described the problem in my first work order but apparently no one took the time to read it. The gap in my apartment door is now larger after the job was supposedly completed. Why because someone in maintenance thinks they know more about the problem than I do even though I LIVE HERE or they are just PLAIN LAZY!!!! I asked to be called for an appointment. No one called, If they had or had knocked on my door I could show them the problem. The level of maintenance at Ellyn Crossing has always been less than acceptable and that has not changed in 5 years. That is the reason I do NOT recommend it to my friends. I almost always have to issue 2 or more work orders for the same issue before it is done adequately. Please take care of this ASAP. You are paying for heat--if you want it to pour out the door I know why the rent is so high..

Safety is a real issue. Old smoke detectors which go off when the oven gets too hot. No way to let first responders into my apartment if I cannot get up to get to the door. Metal strips which loosen with time. Horrible drafts in my apartment.
