This property was once a nice place to live. Not so much anymore. It has fairly recently changed hands and the new management is... lackluster, to say the least. Office hours are a joke. Despite what the sign on the door claims it's often empty for long periods during business hours. Maintenance is good. The guys are courteous and do their job well. This has not always been the case. Parking is a nightmare. Too many apartments have multiple occupancy. (i.e. 1 apartment, 4 people living in it, all with their own vehicles.) Noise is a problem, the walls are thin. If you neighbors argue you will hear them, you will listen to your neighbors use their bathroom, you will listen to your neighbors music, you will wake to the trash collector at 3am, one side of the property abuts a commercial zone and you will hear the trucks that service the restaurants and the other businesses early in the AM, you will hear your neighbors go up and down stairs. The grounds are nice, the mature trees are a plus. But it is a pet friendly complex and management has stopped insisting that dog owners pick up after their dogs. (or at least enforcing the rule) All the grassy areas are littered with dog waste. Safety is a concern. There was recently a rash of car break ins and a shooting/failed robbery attempt last winter. The property is poorly lit and is not patrolled. The property is 40 years old and is beginning to show it. The roofs were fixed a couple of years ago and it was badly done. It's in need of new roofing again. Back patios on some townhouse units are falling apart, literally, and have been for years. The windows are single pane and 40 years old, you will need plastic over the windows in the winter to keep heating bills down and to stay warm.
