what a great place

where to start. ahh, yes, those floors you walk across that scream, flex, and feel rotted, they are. you can hear your upstairs neighbors every move and pinpoint with great accuracy where they are, and what they are doing. the walls are fairly well insulated, but the ceilings/floors are absurd. every movement is heard. even your cat walking across the floor. and just wait for your move-in inspection. bring a pad of paper with you for this, it will be a long list of "this still needs fixed" or "this looks like hell". cover your ---, they will nail you for it, but never fix it. the parking, wow, good luck. if all the apartments are actually full, you will be parking across the street at the Shell station. the parents here dont seem to understand that their kids are not sheep, this means they are not free range animals, and their incessant screaming, yelling, and hollering will continue well into the evening past 9pm, no matter the age. and they dont give a ---- if they make a ruckus in the hallways either. 11 oclock, let 'em scream on the way in, sure. the entire place is a run down drug dealers paradise. multiple times ive had to call the police for suspicious activity and vehicles. the only good thing about this place is i dont run out of hot water. the dishwasher was filthy when i moved in, this hasnt changed. the furnace/condensing unit is noisy and does a sub-par job while giving me ridiculously high bills still. but the water is free, no matter how bad it stinks. in short, sure, this place is relatively cheaper than any other place in g-hood, but its still not worth it. the maintenance guys are great, and do what they can given the situation they are put in. i rate the maintenance guys a nice 8/10 for most of them, one or two seem to not really give a christmas poo about anything.
