When I first moved here improvements were being made, such as roofing, resurfaced the parking lot! My apartment was not cleaned properly when I moved in, my tub was chipped horribly! Although rent has increased due to the market no changes have been made! The apartments on the outside need to be painted, there are too many trees that need to be cut! The trees are taking over parking spots. My vehicle has gotten broken in multiple times as well as others. Yet not one security camera or better lighting has been placed. I have never seen the courtesy officer since I have moved here! Management has changed over the years, which is why currently the property has drastically gone down! The manager is not competent or helpful. The assistant is nicer and more understandable in my opinion but her hands are tied I believe. When my lease is up I will absolutely try and move somewhere better and worth the amount they charge. Hence, people are moving out and no one is moving in.

Manager her staff are always helpful, friendly and professional. Maintenance crew is outstanding also, they take good care of the property / amenities and handle maintenance requests fast and professionally. Love the property with all the trees and the ponds, lots of shade and very solid apartment construction (both interior apartments and exterior of buildings / foundation.) Seems very social too with events planned by staff for residents.

Hilirii was so helpful throughout this entire process! She answered all my questions & met all my needs. When touring the property, she already made it feel like home! The property and units were well maintained and in a great location!

Leasing staff are professional and easy to work with. The community has good amenities and the community vibe is very nice and relaxed. Clean, quiet, and friendly overall. The leasing staff made the move in process easy.

Paul was very efficient

Got my garbage disposal fixed in less the 10 minutes! Called in the request right after getting of work Friday in hopes of getting my garbage disposal before the weekend was out and he had it up and running within the HOUR of me making the call!

The Diamond Lakes Community is quiet and serene. The area is nice, well lit at night, this is a good security agent and the scenery surrounding it is beautiful. The staff is helpful and friendly as well.

amazing service as usual

Mr. Paul is one of the best. We often talk on the grounds and he is always offering help anytime I need. Anytime he helps with my maintenance orders they are done perfectly in more than sufficient timing. Maintenance requests are always done in a timely manner, if you make a request during the day chances are it will get done that day, if not in the next 24 hours.

Nice place to stay

It’s a Nice place to stay it’s quiet, not much traffic coming through. Neighborhood is pleasant, safe, and kept up for the most part. The parking is mid but overall it’s a decent place to live for singles couples young and old.

Quick and polite.

Cool dude and easy fix. Came in saw the problem and fixed it. He did it fast and didn’t make a mess. He knocked before he came in and was very respectful. My issue didn’t take long but he did a good job fixing it.

Diamond Lakes

Nice apartment at a good price. Looks like it’s well taken care of. The staff does a really nice job. The manager welcomed us and gave us a tour, we liked the walk and want to move when our lease is up.

Overall, the Diamond lakes apartments are good. Positives are rent is somewhat affordable, maintenance is quick, and a great location. Negatives are constant flooding, the property only looks nice at the front, men shooting dice at the basketball court late at night, loud fighting, and the parking lot has a ton of holes.

I am so pleased that I chose Diamond Lakes as my new home in Lafayette, Louisiana. Ms Cheryl, Property Manager, Ms. Cru (assistant manager), Mr. Gabe ( Leasing Agent) Mr. Paul, Mr. Allen, Mr. Montrel. and the rest of the crew have been so helpful, courteous and professional in my stay in the complex. I had put in maintenance requests for my heater and bathroom issues and Mr. Paul and Mr. Montrel were there at my place immediately to fix the issues promptly. What a top-notch and professional experience!!!!! I would recommend Diamond Lakes to anyone who is looking for a SAFE, CLEAN, and peaceful place to live in the Lafayette area.

So far living here has been amazing. The maintenance workers are always working hard and completing repairs in a timely manner. For the most part it is always clean around the complex. The pools are always clean and open to residents.

The move-in process was quite chaotic due to miscommunication on the part of an employee but no issues afterward. The person I did end up working with was very helpful. The property sends regular announcements of events and recognizes tenant birthdays etc. Maintenance has been extremely prompt and helpful with any issues. It's fairly quiet.

Meets expectations but does not exceed except for the maintenance dept. I currently do not plan on renewing my lease as it stands due to my neighbors and the constant noise, weed, and trash left around my apartment by them. The courtesy person is really non-existent as I have never been able to get in with whomever they are. The grounds are in need of attention as well as the amenities. It is feeling less and less as a safe place for my son and I.

Diamond lakes is a great place to live

I been living at Diamond lakes apartments for over 25 years,and I have to say this has been a incredible place to live. The office staff we have now is awesome,Ever since the new manager Cheryl Strickland has been here things are taken care of .

Good service on the maintenance request. Bathroom tub clog was removed and tub is now draining well. Seems they also fixed the front door even though I did not request, so front door now shuts smoothly compared to previous hard-to-shut-close state of the door. Great work!

Very quiet and peaceful. The property is always clean and the office and maintenance workers are all respectful and nice. Any order you put in will be dealt with sooner than you can imagine. Everyone greets you with a smile and as if they really live having you here which makes me feel very welcomed. The apartments aren't all the way updated but still very cozy. Nothing bad to say about this place at all.
