very disappointing
I would have to agree with the other negative reviews. I was extremely disappointed. I was quoted one price over the phone for a two bedroom of $1300.00, but there was no such unit. I ended up paying $1595.00. I was never actually showed the apartment that I was going to be renting but I was told that it had full sun and was in a very quiet building. Quite the contrary. I was in total darkness all day. I was given the key and told the apartment number and sent on my way. You would think that the sales office would make the first visit with you to the apartment to make sure you were completely satisfied with the unit you rented. Instead they took the money and ran. I only rented for 5 months and it was five months too long. I felt like i was living in the ------. Lots of shady characters lived in my building. Not that I am prejudice, but I would have to guess that there is a very large population of Section 8 in these apartments. There is no security provided by management. I had to call the cops to get the neighbors to keep the noise down. I even mentioned the problems with management and they seemed to brush it off. At night i could not even sleep with ear plugs and/or headphones. It felt as if my neighbors where having a party right in my apartment they were so loud and disrespectful. The walls are paper thin. Very poorly insulated against noise. The tenant directly above me was so heavy on their feet my crystal and dishes would shake and fall. The property itself was poorly maintained. Hallways and elevators were always dirty. Trash room is very dirty and smells horribly. The pool is very small and it is first come first serve. It is very likely that you will be turned away from pool because it reaches capacity very quickly. I would suggest that you think twice before considering a move to this complex. Also, it may seem convenient because it is right off of Rt 1, but that is not the case. I can't tell you how many times a day I would have to drive in loops up and down Rt 1 when running errands. I will say, however, that the facilities/maintenance man was very nice and responded immediately to any of my request.Share This Review
