Generally the Bowen is a fairly well managed complex. Staff members are friendly and helpful when it comes to average apartment issues. Maintenance requests are also responded to quickly. My two biggest complaints about the complex pertain to noise and safety. When it comes to the noise issue all prospective residents should be aware that the faux wood floors allow sound to travel very well between apartments. If you have heavy footed vertical neighbors this may bother you, but it is something that you may be able to get used. The safety issue is a much more serious one, particularly as it relates to vehicles. In the span of 12 months there must have been at least 5-7 separate incidents of break-ins or vandalism. In each case several cars were damaged in a single night. On multiple occasions several cars had their wheels and tires stolen. The installation of additional security cameras seem to have had no effect at all. All of the incidents occurred while the "security guard" was present onsite. Management has not done a good job of addressing the issue considering that it has been ongoing for awhile.
