The Bowen is a beautiful community run by friendly and helpful staff, and they keep the property clean and pleasant. The units are good sized for my needs with up-to-date appliances. Inside parking is a great plus, and the gym is small, but meets the needs of most people. I love the large pool. The cost is a little high, but worth it for what you get. The Bowen is located 1 block from a hospital, a large shopping mall (Bowie Town Center) and Route 50 into DC or Annapolis. There are several parks within a half mile. At times, I can hear through the walls and ceiling, but it is an apartment! I have never been so bothered that I was really disturbed. (Any apartment noise is going to depend on WHO your neighbors are!) And, the hallways are always quiet. I just renewed my lease for another 15 months and hope to live here for a long time.
