I made a payment for my first month. Payment was made and got a confirmation, but it turned out that my bank rejected the process after one day without informing me. I asked the front desk to accept a re-payment, but they consider that a late/delayed paying and couldn't waive the $75 fee. I thought they could since I'm a foreigner who is not used to such transactions - those the bank can refused after confirmed payment. Thanks,

By far the best run community in Columbia, just stop out and see for yourself. Management and maintenance are A+.

Sound: The apartment modules seem to be relatively old. So the downside to that is that noise tends to travel through the walls and floors relatively easy. Neighbors in my direct vicinity are fairly quiet, but one can still hear heavy, heel striking footsteps from above at times.

Best complex in Howard County by far. The management team and maintenance staff are awesome. You could easily go somewhere else for a cheaper monthly cost, but you will regret it for sure. You have to pay a little extra for the best!

Love living at Clary's! Convenient, Safe, Quiet, Clean, feels like home because.. of all the special people that enhance the experience :) On that note- Will add a line (or more) to say Tess you ROCK!!! Appreciate all your hard work to make this place a pleasant place to stay. Recently I requested to have an extra set of keys made and my pleasant surprise, not only were the keys cut within 24 hrs, Tess was kind enough to arrange to have them delivered. Overall, I have been pleased with the level of Professionalism, Quality of Service and the Dedication of the Property Manager/Tess and her staff. What a difference from the prior establishment. In the past I had maintenance issues that kept recurring but when Tess came on board, all the pending issues were quickly resolved. On an ongoing basis, service requests have been promptly addressed and one endearing quality I like is the follow up after a work order is completed. The open communication with the staff is assurance that I am heard and they will effectively take care of issues that arise.

I love living at Clarys Crossing. The staff in the office are so professional but very easy to talk to. The community is always well maintained and if I have a problem in my apt the maintenance guys are always quick to respond. My washing machine flooded my apt one evening (way after business hours)and I called the emergency line and someone came out for me immediately. It was something simple, I moved my machine because I dropped something behind it but didn't notice I pulled the hose out. It took Haki less than 5 min to hook it back up and was definitely something I could have done on my own had I noticed I pulled it out. I felt terrible but we ended up laughing about it. There are many nice apartments to live in Howard County, but the people here make it SO MUCH better.

I am quite new to apartment living having owned houses in the past and at Clary's Crossing,it really feels more like a home than an apartment. The layout of the apartment is excellent- ample storage space inside and even a very large, secure closet outside the apartment. The management team is wonderful. They are attentive, personable and very accommodating. I had a very large package left at the front office and Amira e-mailed me at work that she would get maintenance to help to get it into my apartment if I wanted, which I really appreciated. I had several small maintenance issues and all items were fixed by the time I got home from work! I can always find a place to park and I feel very safe here.

I love living here! I couldn't ask for anything better. The staff are fabulous, maintenance is great, everything is just perfect. If I've had an issue within my apartment, Maritess has responded immediately and maintenance has come to resolve the problem the same day. I'm 100% happy living at Clary's Crossing and I will and have recommended it to everyone I know. I love the location, amenities, and the units themselves are beautiful. They replace older appliances with new ones as needed which is a really nice perk. My washer finally started to have problems and wasn't working efficiently and I had a brand new one the next day which works fabulously. My dryer is an older model, but still works perfectly. I don't have any complaints at all. I came from living in one of those "luxury apartment" buildings which turned out to be hell to living here which is really above everything I could've expected. Love Clary's Crossing and everyone helping to keep is running as perfectly as it does!

I LOVE LIVING AT CLARYS! An apartment is an apartment in columbia most have pools, gyms, and club houses so i already knew what to expect when i walked in for the general tour. Now that i live here not only do i love my apt but the staff and maint. guys are great. If i have a problem they fix it right away and even show me how to do minor things around the house in case im in a jam. The property managers Tess and Ameera are great too and make you feel so comfortable coming into the office whether its to pick up a package or make a cup of coffee and say hello.

The management is poor. Tess is not helpful and does not know her job. She cannot even writ a proper business letter. When correspondences are sent out they are never on company letter head so you do not know if they are legitimate letters or not. She makes the rules up as she goes. The new Assistant manger needs to find somewhere else to go before she gest caught up her Tess's madness. The maintenance crew takes forever to fix anything and there are still things that have not been fixed yet. Overall I would never recommend this community to anyone. The community does not comply with the American Disability Act of March of 1991. Stating that any community built after this date must be handicapped accessible. Tess refuses to comply with this law.

My son moved into Clary's Crossing last week. The experience has been excellent. We had looked at a committed to the apartment about 6 weeks ago. when we arrived to pick up the keys there had been a miscommunication and the apartment was no where ready to move in. The manager was terrific! She found us the same floor plan in another building and bent over backwards to help us. It could have been a nightmare but it was a positive experience. it made me comfortable that the complex is well managed and cares about the tenants. as we moved in we had trouble with the air conditioner and a few smaller issues that needed fixing. The management responded to our needs immediately, is replacing the air conditioner unit, and had maintanence to the unit over the weekend to fix the few things that were wrong. I am very impressed with how Clary's Crossing is managed and particularly with the property manager. i would definitely recommend Clary's Crossing.

Looks like a nice place from the outside, but the more time spent there makes you realize you're not really getting your monies worth. Appliances and fixtures are very old and dated. The washer and dryers sound like a stampede is coming and nothing is done to fix them as they still work. The floors are very thin so I would recommend if you have to live here to at least pick the top floor. Maintenance was so-so at best, they would come fix it but it would almost always be done very half hearted. If you ever forget your keys be prepared to wait over an hour for maintenance to arrive as they must live in West Virginia and aparently have no one near the grounds who live there (go figure). Staff can come off as friendly, but doesn't seem to get much done about the issues that you bring up, so I'm sure results can vary. I'm sure there are worse places to stay in Columbia, but I am sure there are better, so I'd advise to stay away.

I am moving to Clary's Crossing next month, May 2013. Obviously, I was quite impressed with the proprerty. The units are very nice, affording every amenity I was looking for - in unit washer/dryer, balcony, fireplace, walk-in closets, and optional vaulted ceilings. The monthy rent is reasonable, especially for the area. The location is ideal, about 5 minutes from Columbia Mall - close enough to get there in a few short minutes, but far away enough not to hear the music from concerts at the nearby Pavillion in the evenings. And last, but not least, they have a gym and pool. There is a $350.00 amenity fee which they should tell you up-front before you sign your lease, but I won't hold that against them. Overall, I'm impressed. I will put an update on here after my official move-in.

Clary's Crossing has exceptional administrative staff and maintenance staff. If I need anything done, the staff does it in a reasonable time. I have leased 3 apartments since 2004 and I have no complaints. The residents are satisfied with their units and their ability to access maintenance staff promptl

I've been in several apartments now. Clary's is more in the value spectrum: you get excellent maintenance and staff support, along with workout facilities and pool, at a fair price. There are really only two downsides to living there: 1 - older apartments, insulation and particularly heating can be an issue; your HVAC will run a lot 2 - the location is good for families and people who work in Columbia area, but it's not that close to DC or Baltimore.

The staff at Clary's Crossing are very professional, friendly, and helpful. I am amazed at the fact that the folks in the leasing office greet tenants by name when they walk into the office and seems to have their apartment numbers memorized--an impressive feat considering the number of apartments here! Maintenance requests are handled immediately and are completed well. Great location--quiet but not too far away from things, you can walk to a local coffee shop, and there are lots of running trails (mostly paved, some unpaved) through the woods. My only complaint would be that the sound proofing of the walls/floor isn't great, but I think it's probably the same the other apartments in the area. Overall, I would definitely recommend it as a great place to live.
