Its been mostly positive. Management is generally responsive to maintenance items. The grounds are maintained well. The apartments are located in a generally safe area (at least initially). Parking is adequate, however, the apartment does not enforce parking spots reserved as handicap parking.

I&#39;ve lived in Kendall Ridge for 14 months.
And is a really great place to live.

The building feel pretty secure&#44; you have really nice gardens&#44; the pool&#44; tennis and small gym are really nice too.

Another reviewer said something about&#44; old kitchen appliances&#44; well they are renovated now&#44; you know stainless and all that stuff.

The in house washer and dryer are really big&#44; and really comfortable.

As the personnel is GREAT... on sunday my water heater broke&#44; they came.. checked it... it was a bigger problem&#44; so they called somebody else and replaced it... yes.. on a SUNDAY!

They are doing maintenance everyday.. monday to friday there is people cleaning&#44; trimming the gardens.

Office Hours... they are open 9 to 6 mon - friday&#44; 10-5 on Sat and 10-4 on Sunday. So  pretty much you can find them any day.


I definitively recommend this complex to anyone living in the columbia&#44; dc. area.

(Price&#44; yes a little&#44; but is a no-brainer considering the level of comfort...)


Great place and service

I have a 1br/1ba. 
*The management has changed since I moved in so some of the problems I had may not be a problem anymore.*

The day that I moved in I realized that they did not clean the apt like they told me that they would. Especially the dryer!! It was insane. The previous tenant must not have cleaned it...ever! But the plus side, it has a full size w/d in the unit!!! 

Maintenance - Really easy to submit a work order online and they&apos;re usually over the next day. 

Leasing office - everyone I met was nice. Nicole is my favorite. 

Price - I&apos;m from the Midwest so rent is cheaper so the price was a big shock. But it seems this area in general is high in price. 

Noise - The walls are pretty thin. Especially the walls to the outside. I can hear everything. But there&apos;s a sliding glass door in the bedroom so it&apos;s understandable. 

Parking - If you get home after 2100...good luck in finding a spot near your apt.

The location is great - The manager Jordan, does not have a clue of what customer service is - The appliances are old, the floors in the kitchen were ripped and they fixed them by nailing the rip!!!!! (See attached pictures) Real mediocre and ugly solution, the second night the door lock came out of the door!!!!!  - The other lady Nicole is very nice and helpful
The manager said that he could not replace the kitchen floor!!!!!!!!!!!  The sink in both bathrooms have been painted over and over it looks terrible - One of the sinks broke a piece that was obviously repaired from before I moved in and the Manager Jordan did not want to replace the sink he wanted to &quot;repair it&quot; AGAIN! There is an awful odor coming from the kitchen sink, the balcony&apos;s railing and door had to be repainted as the paint was chipped and coming off everywhere,   They took their time in getting the snow out of the parking lot .  There is more but I will stop here. I do not recommend this place

I already wrote my review that we just move in a week ago and it has been great but I want to attach a picture! It&apos;s our one bedroom and I just want to show how pretty the windows light up the living room :) you don&apos;t even need to turn on lights during the day- save electricity !

The community here at the Elms at Kendal Ridge   Is safe with awesome walking trails, play ground for the kids, swimming pool, and dog park. There is plenty of parking for the residents and their quest. The maintenance and office staff are friendly and professional even through this COVID-19 pandemic. I would recommend anyone to live here.

The Elms felt like 'home' from my first visit. The staff mirrors that and while professional, they are all friendly, eager to help, and work hard to take care of resident needs.  It is a lovely area, well-maintained, and the team has made significant improvements - new windows, new HVAC units and other exterior upgrades.

Very nice place to live with a family. Office staff are very friendly and professional. When you have service request they always ready to support.
the place is accessible to schools, stores, etc. We safe in terms of security also.

At first I thought it looked dowdy and the people kept to themselves. But time healed that. I adore the pool area, but it rarely opened on time. Of course, Covid was an issue probably. The staff and residents ( for the most part) are very nice. There's a few people that aren't nice but that's true of all community's. I would like my place to be updated with better appliances and sink though. I'm too scared to ask!

Great Place! We moved in recently and our experience has been amazing. Leasing office Staff Alyssa and Betsie are friendly and Welcoming. When we Moved In our apartment was neat and clean newly painted and its nice. Grounds are well kept parking lot is always clean. Convenient Location to the grocery store lot of good restaurants and proximity to get on I-95 is a plus.
Overall its a Safe and Family Friendly Community. Leasing office staff is very Nice. My wife and I are glad to be a part of this apartment community.

I still consider myself very fortunate for finding this apartment complex some 15 years ago.  I enjoy the view of the woods from my balcony and taking walks on the excellent path system that is adjacent to complex.  I love how convenient this community is to my work place, as well as the many amenities and shopping options in the Columbia and Ellicott City areas.  My car's airbag was stolen one night along with three other cars, and several vehicles have had their wheels and catalytic converters stolen, but the community has added at least one Howard County Police officer as a resident, and I do see him patrol the neighborhood often.  Aside from the increase in crime, which is more indicative of the times we live in rather than the community, I have truly enjoyed living here.  It has been hard to leave as I will most likely not be able to duplicate the level of opportunities to easily and stresslessly engage in the many things I enjoy doing if I move to a house in some far-off neighborhood.

I am very pleased with my interactions with the maintenance and office staff. My apartment is comfortable and gives me a lot of privacy. The grounds are very well-maintained and provide generous greenspace and access to the public walking/biking trails. The community is located conveniently to restaurants, grocery stores and professional service providers.

A Nice Place to Live

A very nice community that is quiet, well maintained, convenient to stores, golf courses, highways, restaurants, beautiful walking trails and peaceful parks. The online capabilities for requesting service and handling financial matters are excellent.
