I lived here for a year and couldnt wait to move! I moved in January of 23, when me and my friend moved in our ac unit was broken. Which means we had no heat neither.... that didnt get fixed til mid june of 23... our dishwasher was broken for 8 months after numerous maintenance tickets. One of the maintenance workers actually stalked me and showed up to our apartment on thanksgiving day after 5pm banging on our door trying to come in... We lived with Mice from August of 23, until we moved in June of 24... the leasint office didnt do ---- about the mice. I was so sick, dogs were sick, its disgusting here... not worth the money.

Don't believe the hype

Don't believe the hype. I have been here for 14 years now have been through three different property owners and this is by far the worst I've ever seen from the leasing office on down to the maintenance crew. We've had a rodent problem for going on 6 to 8 months now and no one from maintenance or management has addressed the issue other than sending Pest Control in only to look at the traps multiple traps we have put down ourselves the whole property is in such a disarray in shambles from unsafe playgrounds to the pier falling apart not to mention the pollution and trash and picnic tables and such going into the Waterfront that you will pay more for your lovely Waterfront view. The pictures show a current state of the property. Did I mention we have not had a pool for three years now.

Too much money, for so little

I have lived in this apartment with my boyfriend for 3 years. We planned on stay a fourth but nope! We have never had ANY issues with our apartment. I put in multiple request for my AC ad thinking that they were so fast on my other request I was expecting SOMETHING. No call, no update! We’ve only been to the pool once since living here because it’s never open. We don’t have a gym! Just this big --- lake. For about 1300 a month, I was expecting more but I’ve been very disappointed lately. Not to mention, we found TWO roaches in our apartment when we’ve never had them before! EVER! I don’t think we will be renewing our lease. I can barely get in touch with any way. So, I don’t think they would care. Just save your money!

In the summer of 2020, I had no AC for months, just a small window unit; I didn't use any room in my apartment except my bedroom. Hole in my dining room for 6 months d/t leakage. I had to cover it with poster board to stop spiders and bugs. Hole in my bathroom ceiling for 2 months d/t leakage. The bathroom leaked for the entire 2 months as well.. The hole damages still are not fixed! Drywall is up but it is embarrassing! Not to mention the washing machine that is now rusted bc water sat in it since before summer. The washer has been reported multiple times over a 3 year span, no replacements have been made nor has it been fixed.

I've only lived here for 6 months, and I cannot wait until my lease is up. I've had countless maintenance issues, the grounds are always filthy and covered in cigarette butts, the people that occupy the apartment directly above me are extremely noisy and disrespectful (throwing trash into my patio) and the office staff is rude and dismissive. It is clear that the office staff and the maintenance staff do not communicate. My building has had an emergency plumbing repair that required water shut off at least once a month since moving in. Some of the problems I've had with my apartment are the patio flooding twice, maintenance breaking the outdoor outlet and then lying about fixing it, AC breaking, ceiling leaking from clogged condensation drain, sump pump broken and without cover (asked about this at move-in and was told that a cover wasn't needed, they have now back-tracked that statement). Some of these issues have yet to be fixed. The shared laundry room is dirty and ignored. This is the worst rental experience I have ever had and I will tell everyone I know to avoid this place at all costs.

At first it was the place to be, then new management took over. A lot of noisy ------ people. Management is very unprofessional. I filed a complaint against them with the state attorney generals office because my building is infested with rodents. Caught 40 mice in the past 2 1/2 months and there's nothing being done to help with this matter. All I want to do is move...it's so nasty living here.

I lived here for 4- yrs. Was Never late on rent, kept to myself, and am clean! I purchased a home and moved out last week. I recieved an email today, claiming I owe them? I gave ample notice, luckily I have copy of it! Well, then I see thet are charging me for a new carpet? * I moved into a Non- remodeled apartment that had been previously rented to a Huge animal petson(He had a large bird-cage in the livingroom)! I took move-in photos, filled out check list and had several helpers whom all saw severely run down condition of apartment! Now the manager is trying to tell me carpet was new? I HAVE PHOTOS! Thet lie, and try to steal your money! DO NOT MOVE HERE! So, many other issues.... I am glad to be free! I am taking them to court for my security deposit! Tell me, Does that look like a new carpet?

This is the worst place I have ever live in !!! Terrible staff . My dishwasher has not been fixed. Water got stuck in there so it stunk up my my house. Staff came to fix it once and told me to keep restart the cycle so it can drained out. I don't even use the dishwasher but unfortunately I would have to keep doing it to have the water cleared out. And parking!!!! I got towed for parking on visitor parking and I actually living here!! I parked at visitor parking because there was no parking available!! Terrible terrible!!! The worst place ever Bugs are the worst when it's summer!! Flies, roaches, rats !!!

Horrible horrible property staff is rude and the property manager is nasty I lived here for three years in the three years I was there I never got my air filter changed I never got my disher fixed they favorited resident here there's buggs people are outside smoking pot it's a horrible community . STAY AWAY!! There own maintenance supervisor talks nasty about the property manager doesn't that say something .

I love the location of this community, and love it's residents. There is definitely room for improvement, but isn't there with so many places. Office staff is younger, and could use some professional guidance. Maintenance is super friendly, but i live in an apt with an incomplete bathroom, and kitchen, but just tolerate it, cause i feel there is nothing i can do further to get it completed. Rarely see bugs, which is great. Rent's a little steep, especially living with an incomplete kitchen and bathroom. But my BGE bills are super low cause i only have to pay for electric

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the Service received while visiting Gatewater Landing Apartments. I'm new to the area and the Office Staff was extremely resourceful! The community was presented as a great, safe place to raise a family. The grounds are well kept and welcomed serenity. If you're seeking a new home, I would consider Gatewater Landings! We are!

ROACHES, ROACHES, ROACHES GALORE! I currently live here and my home was infiltrated with roaches upon arrival (June 2018, it's now November 2018) and I am still experiencing a bug issue. The building next to me has an extreme roach issue as well reported by tenants of the building. Terrible management with poor communication. I've been to extents of attempting to contact regional management and they have poor communication as well. I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

This community is horrible. Looks great from the outside but try walking on the lawn and you're sure to step in dog feces. There's not one are and I absolutely mean there's literally not one clean space to walk in the grass because of the feces. Management should fine those who don't pick upafter their pets. You can't enjoy fresh air or let your kids play in the grass because of the feces. Horrible!!!!!! Waste and I will not be renewing my lease. Why when I can't enjoy walking around without seeing and smelling waste.

I've never had any unresolved issues and all the management staff are very friendly and eager to satisfy the needs of the tenants. They all seem to really care about the residents here. They keep the grounds clean and are putting a parking permit process together to keep the lot clear for paying residents

I moved in a little over a year ago to Gatewater Landing. So far I have no complaints. I love that the staff lives here as well. It is such a welcoming feeling being able to walk outside and see the maintenance guys and the office girls walking their dogs. I love fishing off the dock. There are two playgrounds that my son enjoys and a little dog playground. My rent is going up higher for this next year but they are cleaning my carpets so I have a fresh feeling. I referred two of my buddies from college here and they have this awesome program that gives me $300 for referring a friend.

Its a beautiful property, fishing from the pier is a plus! School bus picks kids up right in front of the complex and not a loud or busy place, nice to be away from the craziness of the city. Office staff is nice, they got new people within the last year. Maintenance is friendly and helpful. Dog friendly is always nice! They have a dog park thats a good idea and activities every month for the tenants, thats a nice touch too. only complaint is my upstairs neighbors, I hear them walking all the time day and night.

Since speaking with Ashley, she has resolved my rental increase issue. She was able to get me a much lower rate. Aside from that concern the property is peaceful. Living in Glen Burnie this is a much better choice to live. Maintenance tries very hard to get issues resolved in a timely manner.

Can I just say how amazing the service was at Gatewater landing Tiffany there property Manager was amazing in helping out our situation with the move it was rocky at first with the initial place we had signed to lease but things couldn't have been handled any better!! Very very happy with our first apartment purchase very reasonable to afford for a first time couple moving out fast with trying to accommodate moving in soon as possible definitely talk with Tiffany she really seems to care about her tenants well being an how they feel about there living quarters thanks again from the happy customers

When I entered the office today to speak to the manager. I never would have guess I would have left out smiling because I normally I never do. I was mad and very upset and unsettled about yet another management company take over. She addressed my concerns very professional. Completely different vibe and very inviting. When leaving the office she told me she strives for 5. So she and the rest of the staff getting 5 stars.
