As is common with Washington DC, area, the rents are some of the highest in the nation, and the REMY is no different. There have been incidents of violence in the community where maintenance staff has been assaulted and it's not uncommon to hear couples arguing loudly. The building is pet-free, but it seems every tenant has a dog or as they are called, a comfort animal. The landscape is full of bare spots where tenants let their animals relieve themselves. On the positive side, the buildings have nice facilities, and the management endeavors to create a sense of community.
