The representative Shawn was helpful throughout the whole process. The initial apartment I was approved to get, the existing tenant decided not to move so I had to postpone my move in date but Shawn kept me abreast of the situation. Once I was able to move in the process was easy.

Overall, we have enjoyed living in the Alaire. Sometimes we hear neighbors but less than you would think. They're very responsive for any issues including maintenance concerns. The staff work hard to have monthly events and correct any issues that pop up.

Its a nice place to stay and quite welll maintained. Support staff is very good with good maintenance staff. Good gym facility which is well kept. The swimming pool is good. What I dont like is too much rent increase.

The staffs of this apartment are very kind. When we have some noise trouble with my neighbor, they sincerely handled this matter and respected us. Also, almost residents are very kind, too. The only one thing I feel unsatisfied is that one neighbor doesn't not accept our kids.

The Alaire is Beautiful very nice amenities and convenient location. i really love it. I have enjoyed my stay at the Alaire for 5 year. When I moved in 2018. I lived like 5-star hotel scent, very fresh. The management team has been very friendly and supportive during my stay. This location also an excellent choice for my work and I would highly recommend if you are looking for a safe, clean, and friendly apartment. I love it ??

It's been pleasant. Sean at the front has been fantastic and neighbors have been quiet for the most part. I think the utilities are using older, more power consuming appliances which raise overall electric bill. Heating was a challenge at the beginning of winter but I think the complex did not turn on the heat until later.

In general I have had a great experience. There has been one maintenance issue that was identified in 2022 that still hasn't been fixed, but overall this is a great place to live. The pet rent is a bit high. I feel really safe here and love being so close to Metro. Great staff, especially the front desk staff. Sean in particular is wonderful.

Love this property - Joshua the Manager goes above & beyond!

The Alaire is an awesome property - clean, attractive, and right next to the metro station. Joshua is a definite bright spot and asset to this property! He consistently goes above and beyond; regardless of how busy he may be tasked, Joshua always gets it all done! We are very grateful!

Alaire management has gone downhill since RAM Partners took over from JBG. Management charges residents random fees without disclosing them in the lease or providing any prior notice or explanation, then send collection letters. Building maintenance is poor. In the summer, dead flies spread across the carpet by the windows and vents of some units. Rattling generators near some units are so loud it makes it hard for residents or guests to sleep. The walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors cough. Pets poop in the garage and it is left unattended for days. Residents let their cats roam the hallway and kids ride bikes and scooters in the hallway as if it is the sidewalk. Smokers smoke in the stairwells.

We toured the alaire and were very impressed with the property. It is well managed and the staff was very professional and friendly. The building is well maintained and in very good condition. Staff answered all questions thoroughly. I’m impressed.

Hallway carpets old. Need to install security cameras on doors, hallways, includes garage doors. Weed smelling very often on garage side stairs. (1100 Higgins Building). Yearly rent raises above the market. Long time tenants must have some advantages on the rent raise. Need garage clean up more and locate trash cans near the doors.

The Alaire went downhill ever since the management changed. Maintenance requests go ignored, walls are really thin you can hear the neighbours sneezing, renovations were done to make wood floors without insulation. I can hear my neighbours walking above me. Noise is an issue which management has not been able to resolve. Management is really bad all together and price hikes last time we renewed were more than 10%. The package room is always messy and has overflow, never able to find packages easily.

Overall, it's been a pleasant experience. The location is super ideal and family friendly. My only concern is the washer and dryer are really small and ruined my son's winter coat. The washers final spin cycle left a tiny hole and a permanent mark.

I have lived here for nearly 2 years and am overall happy with this Apartment. The location is super convenient, with proximity to Metro, buses, supermarkets, shopping centers, dining, and entertainment. Common areas are well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful, and maintenance service is timely and effective.

Not good you can hear your neighbors above you, every step, every shower every loud phone conversation etc...dogs barking in the hallway. This should be a dormitory for College Students. Would NOT recommend.

We've loved living at The Alaire for almost 11 years. Great location, pool, fitness center and staff. We can walk to dozens of restaurants, doctor's offices, our car dealership, the Metro and Pike & Rose.

Overall I've had a good experience! Maintenance answers my requests quickly and management is helpful. Within walking distance of many places. Only downside is I can hear next-door and upstairs neighbors very easily.

Initially renting here was a horrible nightmare. I lived over 2000 miles away when I was moving and was doing the entire process online or over the phone. They almost never answered my emails, phone calls, or voicemails. After a week of no contact I finally reached out to their corporate offices to get someone to actually respond to me. This easily had been the worst rental experience I had ever had. You would think that I would've just found somewhere else to live but the location of this building is perfect for me. Since then, many of the staff has changed, and I have had only minor issues with communication. Currently I am mostly satisfied with the service and very happy with the apartment itself. Maintenance, though rarely needed, is always timely and very professional.

Phenomenal Apartment

I have lived in the apartment since 2021. This apartment has been phenomenal. The staff at the apartment makes their tenants feel accepted, welcomed and taken care of. If I needed help with the laundry machine, the management took it priority to make my roommate’s needs met by checking our apt and fixing the laundry machine. When my sister and brother in law were looking at apartments nearby, I told them all about Alaire that they chose Alaire to be their next home. They love it and enjoy their place so much better than their previous one. Alaire always wants to celebrate. They give their tenants free monthly breakfast, had celebrations of Super Bowl, St. Patrick’s Day, Cinco de Mayo and much more. They have wine nights and provide s’more kits. This is the best place to live in the county. Prices are great as well. Alaire is one of a kind. I met the new property assistant manager and he was phenomenal. He was kind and accommodating.
