I have lived at 454 Watson for 2 yrs. I have seen a demographic change with one group moving out and a different group moving in. I earn 34k a yr and pay $1140 a month for a 1 bedroom. My rent has increased from $1065 in the 2yrs and this does not include the parking garage or pet fee. I need a pet because there's a ghost moving around the building between 3am-5am. I hear someone and certain tenants hear different types of annoying noises and needing to move out. I think it's gentrification. I have someone entering my unit when I leave doing things like crushing my bags of chips. I even had a item missing that returned later. I once was looking for something and thought I didn't have any more well 2 days later 3 appeared in 2 different locations within my eyesight. The crazy thing is I hadn't left my apartment in those 2 days. My shower head doesn't get a lot of water so I literally have attached a tube I got from Amazon to shower. This may sound crazy however everyone's experience is not the same and I may have other issues but I think it's best to share my concerns with my community.
