Please do not sign the lease! You cannot live and sleep here!
This building has so many issues! This apartment building is located next to Detroit shipping company which is an event space. Detroit shipping company plays music 14 to 16 hours a day mostly six days a week sometimes seven. Music starts around 11 AM to as late as 3 AM. The music is nonstop between that time. You can hear the music even with the windows closed. This is no exaggeration. I moved in the unit in July and I left in March. The music never stopped. It was a horrible, excruciating, unimaginable experience. Affected my health, it destroyed my mental health, it affected my life. To make matters worse in the winter time inside the building, it’s radiator heating and when the pipes heat up, they bang so loud it literallysounds like someone is tearing the pipes out of the walls, this is no exaggeration. Also, you can hear the water flowing and dripping through the pipes all night. It was a horrible experience! There’s blatant drug dealing near the building, addicts and mentally challenged individuals are sneaking inside the building and stealing packages. Is very unsafe it’s just a matter of time before something worse happens. Staff have a deceptive energy.. I understand now because there’s so many issues that they’re not disclosing this to potential tenants. M also all the apartments need renovation. Walls are poorly spackled and painted to the point that the paint is bubbling because it’s just being painted over crumbling walls.. It’s just a horrible place to live. Please save yourself the money and excruciating experience. There are so many other apartments that are cheaper and have no issues none whatsoever..

Horrible Building Worse Management
I’ve almost lived here a year and have seen it all. The laundry room and elevator infested with cockroaches, the heat going down this winter for days at a time, leaks, package theft, bums and crackheads wandering the stairwells but the new managements lack of communication and what little effort they put in for anything at all for their tenants takes the cake. Can’t wait until my lease is over. Don’t live here, run!
