Things have really declined since I moved in here. You always would see maintenance staff out and about working on and around the property. House cleaning was done regularly with follow-up checks in the buildings. Now we are constantly short staffed. There is an abundance of corner cutting going on. They are putting maintenance care onto the residents. The pool is listed as only being open Monday thru Friday...this is a home residence where people are home on weekends and should be able to enjoy themselves. We used to have visible security walking the property checking in and around the buildings. Now you never see them. And now if you call security...you have to leave message on some system that you aren't even sure is an actual business.

You are right, just like many other businesses, we are short staffed. Our housekeeper was promoted so we have a cleaning company coming by weekly. This just started last week. Additionally, we have offered referral bonuses to residents if someone they know is hired for any of our open positions. We haven’t asked any residents to do their own maintenance in this time though so we would live for you to reach out and explain more. The pool is open on the weekends so if you could please let us know where we can find that information you are seeing, we would be happy to correct it. Lastly, we are in the process of changing to a more reliable security company. It’s going to be an exciting change and we can’t wait to share more information with you all when it’s available. Care of the grounds and property, in general, has decreased since the time I moved in. They do large repair like replacing the roof but neglected to put proper gutters in place for almost three years causing waterfall type drainage and ice build-up over the Entrance doors, door walls and windows causing major water leaks and poor repairs because of it. The problem still exists over bedroom windows. And the worst of it is the rent has increased $30-$40 every year as I have seen the decreased care and corner cutting increasing.

Drawbridge Apartments East

Thank you for taking the time to review Drawbridge Apartments East. We have a few big projects coming up in 2018 one of which is replacing the gutters they were removed when the roofs were replaced 2 years ago 2016. Drawbridge maintains the property with capital projects every year to keep up with the wear and tear that happens over time. Please note that Security is on site several times a week, though we do like to keep schedule random to create a safer environment for our residents here.
