ok
The apartments are huge for the price you pay. Nice set up, lots of closet space. The building we live has some people that when they take their trash out spill it all over the hallways and outside. They do not pick it up after they drop it. So there is almost always old food or wrappers on the ground. In the winter they do not shovel the walkways at all. In fact when it did get shoveled it was a resident that did it. They hardly ever plowed the lot and when they did it still had at least two inches of snow and ice left. They never salted the roads or the walkway. The air is a cheap hotel unit. We luckily will not be living here this summer but if we were staying we have already talked about switching our bedroom and living room. We have called maintenance several times and they only came out once. The handle on the hot water in the shower stopped working. The grooves had worn down so that it would not turn. The last time (which was the 4th time) we called to report it was the weekā¦Ā See More>anonymous

Great Apartments
The most spacious for the money. Great little details - there's a pantry in the kitchen, a window over the sink. A coat closet, large hall closet, linen closet, and walk in closet in the bedroom. Setup feels great, always warm in the winter! Maintenance is always prompt. There's the occasional noisy neighbor, but no matter how nice, it's still an apartment complex! You just take your chances with the neighbors. Would highly recommend to any friend!

Living spaces are large with a lot of storage. For the most part it has been a good experience, but can't say the same for the maintenance staff. They are lazy and solve problems with a quick fix, not the proper way.

Good management
Friendly management office. Always quick to fix things. We live on the first floor which is partly underground. It's convenient to the laundry room and temperature stays constant. Neighbors seem pretty quiet except for a few kids. Overall: clean, safe, and affordable for a large 2 bedroom.

Great value for the price!
I've lived here for about two years now and I must say, for the size of the apartment and the amenities, the rent is very fair. The manager and maintenence staff are awesome and very friendly, they are very quick to fix reported problems (usually the same day) and don't try to save money by insisting that you're wrong. The insulation in the building is also very good, you'll only hear sounds in the hallway. They are cat friendly and relatively child friendly (many families in the complex). Water and heat are included in the rent, so your utilities are fairly predictable. However, the ONE dinky window ac unit is located in the living room, and it doesn't even cool that room when it gets really warm outside. Also there are no washer and dryer hookups in the apartment but a laundry room in the basement. This is fine as long as you don't have a huge family, seeing as how sometimes the machines are in constant use. In addition, be warned that if you are in a third story corner apartment the free heat will not be able to keep it warm (wind will keep it quite cool) but otherā¦Ā See More>anonymous

FANTASTIC PLACE TO LIVE!
Have lived here for 4 years and would not want to move any place else. Heat is furnished, which makes it real nice. Have a kitchen window which makes it nice too. Huge apartment. Almost like a little house. Have not had many maintenance calls, but when I did they were always there quickly. Good parking. Office staff is extremely helpful. Manager is the best. She is always going above and beyond to help the residents. Would like a patio, but am willing to forfeit that for such a nice place to live. Would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone.

Surprisingly Good
The two bedroom apartment is the largest one I've ever seen. There are lots of kids playing here and people coming and going late at night making noise, other than that the interior is quiet. I do not hear my neighbors through the walls, not their footsteps, music nor their TV. All of the appliances work, the parking lot is kept up, and the office and maintenance staff is honest and helpful.

Great place
No problems what so ever. Just wish we could have had a patio and a dog.

It takes a couple of people to ruin it all.
When we first moved in here, it was quite pleasant.
The apartments are spacious, fairly well kept, and even had a window in the kitchen.

However, since my stay has progressed, the noisy neighbors have moved in. I listen to their toddler bound up and down the hall, their bass loud enough to rattle furniture in my apartment, be noisy all around. Wierd people hang around in the hallway, and a couple of kids from another building decided my stairwell would be an appropriate place to play with their BB guns.

I fear this place is turning into a ------ pretty quickly....

Pleasant Place To Live
During my stay maintenance was great! Responded quickly to all my maintenance request. Never had to wait. Office staff and manager was always helpful with any questions that I had. I would recommend carriage green highly. I would still be there if I did not have to move out of state due to my employment.

It's okay, but there were a lot of problems -
I lived here for two years, and it was okay - we lived in a ground level apartment, and there were always bugs crawling in. We also lost hot water for a week once, and for whatever reason, maintenance couldn't fix it. We had to stay with friends, and they wouldn't give us a break on that month's rent, which I thought was problematic. There are a number of families that live there, which makes for a number of little kids. Also, there was no enforcement on the parking rules - people parked in our carport all the time and there was nothing we could do about it.

Good first impression that didn't last
I found the apartment to be adequate though it was very very hot during the summer and difficult to keep it cool. The maintenance staff was great. However, the staff while helpful during my residency there, dealt with me dishonestly when I left by giving me false information on how to check out of my apartment. Because of that, I lost my security deposit and was forced to pay another $300 to cover an addition months rent. They are not trustworthy.

It was a nice community to live in
I lived in Carriage Green for just a year and it was overall a really enjoyable experience, you do have your usual problems here and there, but not compared to some of the places IĀ“ve lived in, in the past. For starters the apartments have so much room, their huge and for the rent rate you cannot beat that. You have a window in your kitchen which was nice and homey feeling. The office staff was always very helpful with questions and anything I needed. I would have to say the only minor problem I had was there are no washers and dryers in your apartment, their only in the complex which was sometimes an inconvienance, but that was the only problem I had, I would definitley reccommend these apartments for anyone, their rent is very resonable and their community was a great place to live, Thanks Carriage Green.

I donĀ“t have many complaints
This is a great apartment for a college student. The building is older, so the walls are thicker. I have had no problem with too much "neighbor noise." I live on the third floor and believe that my thermostat is broken because I have no control over the heat and it is usually always very warm- but I would rather have it warm than cold. It is extremely spacious and well kept up. I have had no problems with management and the maintenance staff responds quickly to problems. The layout of the apartment is nice- there is a front door and back door. My complaints are that the snow removal is less than satisfactory. They do it on a regular basis and usually early in the morning, but they donĀ“t get most of the snow gone. ItĀ“s more like they smooth it out which can be hazardous when you drive around the curves. Also, the washer and dryer in the basement is over-priced and doesnĀ“t work well. I just go to the laundymat. Rent is reasonable and on average I pay $20 total for electric. I wouldā¦Ā See More>anonymous

The complex does not have central air if that is a concern. Each unit has a window air conditioner in the living room, that only cools off the one room. In the winter time it is hard to keep the apartments on the top floors warm enough. The driveway doesnĀ“t get plowed out very often and when it does it is still left in a mess. The walkways usually arenĀ“t shoved until 9 ot 10 in the morning, so if you get up early for work, you have a really fun time. There are quite a lot of disrespectful people that live there. The noise level during the summer late in the evening is quite annoying. You can find a better place for the money you pay.
