I am currently a resident at Lexington Village Apartments and I am writing this review because I don't want anyone to make the same mistake I did by renting out an apartment based on viewing the "model apartment". I was never shown my actual apartment until AFTER I signed my lease. I have a serious phobia of any type of insects and this was one of my questions upon signing my lease, I was assured that there were no bugs that I would have to worry about living here. I have since had SEVERAL encounters with GIGANTIC CENTIPEDES, ANTS, WATER BUGS, SPIDERS AND some type of BLACK BUG I can't even identify! I am also paying an upcharge for an upgraded apartment which includes remodeled kitchen and bathroom. My kitchen has a stove that is more than 10years old and my dishwasher hasn't worked in over a month!! I have brought this to managements attention several times and no resolution has come of it. I even suggested moving to an upper level apartment or compensating some of what I pay in rent for the issues I am having, NOTHING!! My apartment is directly over the basement that is now having sewer problems so often times I have the smell of sewage seeping through my apartment!! I am a very unhappy guest here and cannot wait until my lease is over! I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND THIS APARTMENT TO MY WORSE ENEMY!!!
