If you like living in an 85+ degree apartment year-round, when the heat it totally shut off, then this might be your place. First off, I was lied to regarding what apartment I was getting. I was approved for a 2-bedroom, and when I went to move-in, it was a disaster. Scuffs, scrapes, paint smeared all over the walls. Huge cracks in the ceiling, bathroom pipes falling apart, bath wouldn't drain. Carpet that was ripping off. So I requested a new unit, and all they had was a 1 bedroom. When I went to take a look at it, it was very hot in there, and I repeatedly asked over and over why it was so hot, if the thermostat was broken, and if it would be able to be fixed or else I was not going to sign the lease and move in. The management office promised me it was a fixable issue, and it would be done by the end of the day. So I trusted them and signed the lease. Flash forward 6 months later and my apartment is still a furnace. So yeah, management lies to you, doesn't fix anything, tricked me into renting a unit that would not cool down, and much more. No need for using heat during the winter because your apartment heats itself up to at least 80 degrees. I've been told to just "crack a window" at night and apparently jeopardize my safety. I've heard many people around the complex complain about the heat as well. I can't wait to see what this summer will be like, since there is no way to program the air conditioners to shut off once they reach a specific temperature. Which means they will be running 24/7 and racking up my bill. Also, in general, maintenance is terrible. They have been out to my unit multiple times for the same issue, and just slap a band-aid on it without actually fixing the problem. Overall, I would definitely not recommend this place, and I undoubtedly made a terrible decision to move here--based on the lies of management.
