I have to start by saying this: are there worse places to live? Absolutely. But for the PRICE, Lexington Village was a horrible experience. My first week there I filled out 7 or 8 maintenance requests including a stove from 1970 that had a freaking gas leak. There was a family of about 10 below me for ~5 months which shows they don't care about resident restrictions. They allow dogs which is great, but for a couple weeks there was dog crap in the grass just outside my apartment door. My apartment reeked of weed for weeks even after I sent multiple emails and physically talked to the front desk. Speaking of the front desk, they are pleasant enough, but never once did I receive an answer to an email I sent; the communication was horrible with them. Noise is another huge problem as well, especially in the summer. If you'd like to have the windows open, the highway is right there so forget about watching TV unless you turn up the volume all the way. If you shut them, you have to listen to the noisy window AC unit. Finally, whenever I took a shower and the apartment below me turned on a sink, flushed a toilet, or turned on the bathroom faucet my water would turn scalding hot or freezing cold depending on what was turned on below me. Like I said before, there are worse places to live but for the price you pay, this apartment complex appalling. It's poorly maintained and incompetently run from the front desk to the manager to the owning company Beztak. For $500 per month this would be a decent place to live, but for $750-$1000 per month avoid this place at all costs, especially when there's so many better alternatives around like Stephenson House, which is only a couple miles away.
