Since I moved into this complex in December of 2025 a lot of changes have been made that I am not a fan of. The decor is much more boring, basic, and uglier than it was when I moved in just a few short months ago. I am also not a fan of the valet trash service when the trash shoot is only down the hall so it feels unnecessary.

The building is beautiful and the amenities are great! The other residents have been lovely, so far! The leasing agents seem to be really informed and are kind and helpful. Management is relatively friendly but the leasing agents are where it's at. I LOVE my apartment and location of the building. 10/10

The staff were incredibly responsive and easy to reach. I appreciated their willingness to answer my questions and explain (and re-explain) things when I was confused. From the tour to move in day, the staff at 1989 were so helpful. I have also been impressed with the other people living in the building; everyone has been very friendly and helpful.

We walked in and were greeted with such a warm welcoming and professional team of people who were eager to show us everything 1989 main has to offer! They answered all our questions and were very knowledgeable

I had a great experience living in this community. The property is well maintained, the common areas are always clean, and maintenance requests were handled quickly and professionally. The staff was friendly, responsive, and genuinely cared about residents. The location is convenient, quiet, and feels safe, making it a comfortable place to call home.

1989 Main Apartments are perfectly located in the Crossroads, being placed right along the street cars route. Just across the street, a fan favorite restaurant, The Wise Guy. Additionally a handy convenience store marketplace located next door and enterable through a connect hallway. The interior of the apartment is spunky, right at home with the crossroads. Amenities are competitive, if not more, with any other apartment building in the area. Units are well priced and have great space and design. Loved this community!

This is a great place to live and has an amazing staff. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking. The living environment is comfy casual and is highly enjoyed. I also love how when any issue occurs, that a response is given promptly if needed.

I moved in a couple of weeks ago it's been a great time so far! The work order was quick and smooth! We had a community event and it was very cool seeing and meeting a lot of the residents. It's been a great time so far

Rent increases make this apartment unaffordable for the average person working downtown. I've seen roaches in my unit on the 5th floor, in the shared courtyard area, and in the trash room. Beautiful building and responsive staff, but value is not equal to what you're paying considering the rent increase.

It is a nice community with nice people. The amenities are great and having the dollar store on the first floor is a great perk, especially in the winter. There's a slight bug problem with roaches when the trash backs up and in the outdoor grilling area.
