Happy despite moving day hiccup

On the day I signed my lease and moved in, when the office personnel met me at my apartment for the move-in inspection, we discovered that it wasn't ready for me. There were leaves and dirt smudges on the carpet throughout the apartment, and paint chips in the bathroom. The staff that was with me made it very obvious that she was not only embarassed, but angry at the situation (not only did she voice that fact, but it was evident by the look on her face). She proceeded to take me back to the office where she made some calls, and came back to me with options, leaving it up to me as to whether I wanted to move to a different (but identical) apartment or to go ahead as planned in the first apartment, and the cleaning crew would be called in ASAP to clean the apartment for me. Because I hadn't begun moving my belongings into the apartment, I decided to go with a different apartment, which had already been cleaned and was ready to be moved into. I have been happy since moving in here, despite the brief hiccup on moving day. The staff has been very helpful whether answering a question or taking care of a problem, all of which has been done with a smile. As it turns out, my moving into a different apartment has been more convenient for me, as it's closer to the office, pool, and gym. Having only lived in one other apartment before, I'd definately recommend Summit Ridge to anyone looking for an apartment. Not once have I regretted my decision to move in here.
