I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone!! The apartment complex does not offer what is sold during the initial meeting. My husband and I are greatly disappointed by this place. The place is over priced for the type of environment. They make you feel as if you are going to have the best of Lees Summit, you can actually do better going to a low budget complex like Summit Point, or Pheasant Run. Most of the time you have to deal with undesirable neighbors that really aren't on the lease, but stay with tenants to help pay the rent. We complain, but instead of management dealing with the matter, they send a general letter to all tenants in the building. The staff has a reputation for being very "snobby," well that's only after they get your money, and lease signed. My husband and I have had almost a year of hell, and are anxiously awaiting the expiration of our lease this summer. I have never seen a place that can't keep steps clean, keep the only two business center computers operating, or keep the facility clear from other folks that dont live here, for those that actually pay rent here. The staff can't keep a manager for any specific length a time, but they present quite well, and sell a bunch of mess. My husband and I feel stuck in this mess until late summer. Tenants that do speak out to management have been retaliated against, therefore people just remain silent until they can move. We have spoken with numerous neighbors that say this place is falling apart, by looks, tenants, and management. I give this place a year before it will look like the local public housing division. The staff really needs a complete attitude adjustment, they are just plain rude, and arrogant. It is so sad that they have new tenants such as myself and husband, along with tenants that have been here over ten years, looking so hard to move away. The arrogance they have won't allow them to humble themselves and see what they should change. Also, be aware of the private/public conversations that the staff have about tenants they don't like, so sad, they really need a course on professionalism.
