Awesome place to live!

Lived here with my younger brother for the past few years. Its been awesome! Super quiet, close to town, and rent is reasonable. Its been super nice, even decided to stay after I got married. She seems to love it too!

Oak Court Luxry Apartment Review

I just renewed my lease. They are pet friendly, have fantastic internet as they use Fiber which has been perfect for working from home, the rent is affordable and the apartments are very quiet which is a nice change for apartments. Lisette the manager has been amazing since day one and has worked hard to maintane everything on the property.

Good place to live

I've had a wonderful experience living at Oak Court. The complex is well-maintained, and the management team is always friendly and responsive. The apartments are spacious with good amenities. Highly recommend!

Needs Improvement

I have lived here for several years and the last couple of years have been declining but yet raising the rent. For the last year there has been no site office staff to help with communication and with site issues. And they told me in so many words this probably will not change. Pet friendly, Nice area. Pool and Fitness room on location for residents. Maintenance is very helpful. Location is close to businesses but yet away from noise of streets.

love this place

Great place to live, very accommodating and very efficient on maintenance. The outside is kept very neat, bushes trimmed and grass is kept mowed real often. Nice to be living where they care.. The units have so many useful places for extra storage. Such as pantry, out side storage.

Overall, a good experience

When we first moved in, the apartment wasn't great. The management lacked in every aspect. Could never get ahold of anyone and always had problems (a/c went out within a couple months of living there and management was impossible to get ahold of). However, since new management as of 2024, it has been great!

Very nice place to live

The staff at Oak Court are very nice and courteous. The surrounding neighborhood and people are friendly. The maintenance staff at Oak Court are very good at getting anything that needs repaired done in a timely manner. I have lived here for over 10 years and couldn't ask for a better place.

Review

I always felt comfortable and safe living here. The complex is quiet but I feel like the rent goes up each year, things should be taken care of. The hallways are not clean, lights are burned out in stairways, stairs need attention, siding needs clean & shutters need either painted or replaced. Cable is no longer included which is very disappointing! The longer you stay the incentive is zero. Hopefully steps will be taken to fix the grounds.

The good the bad the ugly

I have lived at Oak Court for 3 years. I’ve had mostly a good experience. The good: when I first moved in I had a great manager, Lisette. She was later moved to the sister property across the street. She checked on residents and would return calls promptly. The complex is quiet but I feel like if the rent goes up each year, things should be taken care of. I have had a leak in my roof that caused black mold to grow each time it rained. I put in numerous request when we had another manager. They would tell me it would be checked…. A year later,Lisette is back and has taken steps to get this fixed. I plan on staying but with all the new construction going on I hope they take the steps to maybe fix the grounds so more will stay.

Happy place to live

I just signed my fifth lease here and am just as happy as I was the day I moved in. The manager Lissette is fantastic, Everything is well kept and cared for and maintenance is so fast if you ever need them. I highly recommend the Whooten company properties.

Safe and quiet

Oak Court is my 3rd apartment I have lived in and by far the best. I have friendly neighbors, and I feel safe walking my dog all hours day and night. The first time I walked in to my apartment I think it was beautiful! Simple things like the fixtures, doors handles and faucets are a upgrade from most places. Just the overall feeling is expensive, but at a reasonable price. The location is amazing. Minutes from shopping and restaurants. A straight shot to Springfield with in minutes. Best of all great schools.

Great place to live!

If you’re thinking of apartment living, Oakcourt Apartments are a great choice. Any time I have a maintenance issue management is on it. Oak court is pet friendly as well so that is always a plus! Lissette who is the apartment manager for Oakcourt & The Palms is always very helpful.

Recommend

Just renewed lease for another year. Quiet area but close to stores. Several amenities for families to use, including room for residents to schedule events. Pet friendly. Parking area is small with only one entrance.

Good area, nice for families and pets

The location is great for people who want to be further from the city but still close enough to businesses. The apartments are nice and spacious, and management is very friendly! There is a lot of space for dogs to play and go on walks, and the waste bins are a nice addition.

Excellent place

I'm on my 2nd year of living here and I love it. Managers and helpful and friendly and i love the big rooms and granite counter tops, as well as the big counters in both bathrooms. Plenty of space for essentials. The kitchen has 2 pantries which hold a lot of stuff and also has washer dryer hookups. They pay for the internet and i love that so I can stream my tv.

I have lived here for 3 years and just renewed my lease. Nice apt.. prompt maintenance and clean grounds. It is very quiet with a nice pool and workout room and laundry room. Very peaceful and quiet. I would highly recommend it but wish the rent wouldn't go up so much.

Cost very fair compared to other apartments. Nice clubhouse and weight room. Clubhouse available for no charge for renters. Great for private party. Pool clean during summer. Basketball court available for kids to shoot hoops. Plenty of parking. Pets are welcome.

I have never before rented from a company so caring of their tenants. As shown, I have lived here a year, but in that one year I have been treated better than the previous 5 years of renting from other companies. The upkeep is incredible, they frequently spray for pests (and give you notice as to when it's happening), the pool/playground area is clean and lovely, the leasing office is always kind and understanding, and given the lack of waste on the ground or noise in general, you'd never guess it's a pet friendly complex.

It's great! I love it here! We have struggled to find an apartment closer to where I go to school, because of the daily commute with no success and we finally decided to just stay here because we enjoy it so much! It's clean, safe, and quiet. It's a family community and very neighborly.
