I have been dealing with this strong smell (cigarette smoke and some kind of a chemical) for almost 2 months now but it's still there. The manager response on my last review said to stop by the office to resolve the issue. Well, I have been to the office many times, called many times, and emailed many times. I have been very patient with this situation which I should not have been dealing with in the first place if the apartment was not put out in the market before it was even ready (clean and without the smell). It has been causing me emotional distress, inconvenience (constant spraying of "zero-odor" all over the house, using different kinds of deodorizers, constant washing of linens & clothes and not being able to sleep in my bedroom because I couldn't stand the smell so I am either sleeping with my son or in the couch, spending days out of the apartment just so ozone generator can run, and many more), increased utility bills (from running the ozone generators, fans and air purifier which should not be necessary), making my properties stink of cigarette smoke smell (couch, clothes, bed, and all my stuff!!!) and health hazards the third-hand smoke is giving us. I wouldn't even wish this to any body because it is just miserable especially if you're not a smoker so please do something about it. ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN WORDS. It's not going to make us feel better if you only say "we're going to do something about it to make you happy".
