We liked the apartment at first but the maintenance has REALLY gone down in the last 6 months. The breezeways are full of dead insects, bird crap & cobwebs. For as high as the rents are, this should be taken care of weekly. They have been saying for 4 months now they are going to be cleaned, but so far ... nothing. If you decide  to rent here, make sure you get a top level apartment as the noise travels easily down to the floor below. The kitchen & bathrooms are very nice but when we do live, the only thing we will miss is the view.

Super gorgeous grounds and apartments. Lovely staff, lovely maintenance staff too. I love the valet trash. The view is breath taking of the river and mountains. Definitely a high class community and it worth every dollar!

I&apos;ve worked in a lot of places and NEVER have I been treated with the sheer amount of disrespect the staff that is currently (6:30 pm 11-20-15) working at this location just gave. I am in a company vehicle, with ID badges hanging from lanyards on my neck. I simply asked if it was ok to wait in the lobby while my company finished up paperwork with a tenant on the 4th floor. It is currently 37 outside, not freezing but chilly. The domineering looks and 37 questions ended with a strained yes you can use our lobby. I replied I&apos;d rather not. I&apos;m clean cut and ladies tell me I&apos;m quite handsome. Clean clothes, white teeth etc. it was not my appearance. I certainly would hate to live in a place that I would have to deal with this person on a daily basis.

Speedy customer service! I put in a maintenance request late morning for my tub drain clog and my range light outing and it was already taken care of by the afternoon! Thank you maintenance staff for all the hard work and upkeep of so many apartments to keep all of us residents happy. This year has been very challenging with the COVID and every staff member has done their best! I absolutely love, love the cozy fireplaces here at the Aventine! Best ammenities ever.

Nice walking areas with beautiful view of the French broad river. 2 dog parks and a great community area. 0
Dog owners are not great about picking up pet waste. Plenty of pet waste stations and bags provided. Just not utilized enough by the owners.

We have had an amazing experience here at the Aventine. Moved in summer of 2021 and still here. The dog parks are so convenient, the pool is great, and the neighbors/community here along with all the Aventine staff, has made it feel right at home.

My time renting at the Aventine started prior Covid which was ridiculous. Aventine does a good job with amenities and it's a beautiful property. They miss mark on affordable rents, Garages overpriced!

Well kept, beautiful apartments. Maintenance staff is wonderful, always coming in a timely manner while being very efficient and courteous. Pool area is kept immaculate. Grounds are gorgeous and we just love living here!

It was great, but the new management is awful. They waited until Memorial Day weekend to get the pool inspection done, which it failed and closed just in time for summer. Manager and leasing director are not helpful with any issues and are not on top of regular maintenance around the property. All amenities were properly maintained under previous management and he was extremely nice and helpful.

This is a beautiful property. With the right management, it could be amazing. Sadly, our current property manager has spent the last year increasing rent and fees, while decreasing or eliminating property services and amenities. I understand market value. I know rent tends to increase, year to year. When renewing my lease last February, my 1BR apartment&apos;s rent increased about $100 per month (to $1,900/month). But in addition to that, they tack on multiple monthly fees. Fees they&apos;ve arbitrarily increased or doubled, and added an additional fee whether we want/need it or not. As our property manager repeatedly tells us, they are all mandatory. This is an isolated community; meaning we cannot simply walk to anything. So that makes this property&apos;s amenities a HUGE factor when choosing a place to live. I&apos;ve been here 18 months and I&apos;ve watched our current management reduce these amenities, or simply remove them. Their right to do this is outlined on page 2, section 18 of our lease, as our property manager has pointed out to us, multiple times. The most obvious example is our pool. It&apos;s been closed since May 22, 2024. Every couple of weeks, our property manager sends us an email with a new excuse. At their current rate, I don&apos;t expect the pool to re-open this summer. Bottom line: If you value a property&apos;s residential amenities, think twice before moving here. Our current property manager rules with an iron fist. If any amenity needs repair or cost them too much, she has the choice to: A. Repair it, or B. Close or remove it. 9 times out of 10, she&apos;ll choose option B.
