Verified Resident ā¢ 2020 - 2023
First moved into this apartment when I started my job back in California.
I wanted my wife to be safe there while I was gone. It was great for the first year. It's been quiet and the complex has an excellent pool and gym. Things are clean and well thought out.
However in the past year, things have changed. The hot water for our sink constantly dripped. Maintenance was contacted to fix it. All they did was turn the hot water line off? So I ended up having to take the sink apart to remove the faulty cartridge and replace it myself.
The neighbors teenage daughter has stolen packages from everyone in building 3000. (The mom confessed this to my wife.) Now, after installing a blink camera on our front door. This girl constantly walks by and says "stupid -----" or flips off the camera.
And to top everything off, rent has gone up 300 dollars in the past year.
Also, we paid our rent up at the clubhouse this past month. Only to have management say we owed them FOUR DOLLARS and would charge a $70 dollar fee if not paid by a certain date? How sneaky
This place was once an excellent place to live. But for the price you have to pay nowadays, the quality of living isn't worth it. Tired of paying a premium just to have the people next door to us steal our packages and flip us off on camera. Won't be renewing, but they don't care. It's Asheville. Someone will take our place as soon as we lock the door to leave.
