Not worth your money...TRUST ME

Sure this may look like the ideal place on the surface, but trust me when I say "it's not worth your time or money". I feel like staff was awesome to get my husband and I to lease an apartment here in the beginning, but once we moved in they could care less about our needs or concerns. We specifically chose Waterford Forest because we were left with the assumption that this was a quiet complex and they had a no tolerance attitude towards NOISE DISTURBANCES. That was one of our main questions we asked prior to moving in because we were already moving from a place with inconsiderate and noisy neighbors. Upon moving in our 1st week we started being disturbed by the tenant above us. We made several complaints and even tried talking to the neighbor. We were advised by management that they would need to hear it themselves in order to take care of the issue (as if my husband and I were making it up--like really? Who has time to make up crap like that?). Needless to say, we haven't been able to get them in to hear it, because by the time we call them to come listen, the noise would stop. But noise isn't going to be your only issue. Even if you are clean (and I am very OCD about keeping our place neat and clean), you will have BUGS. I've never had roaches until I moved here. Its disgusting!! Sure they'll tell you they have Orkin come out and spray, however it doesn't do a darn thing. The bugs are still an issue. Its ridiculous because you do have to pay a monthly pest fee on top of your rent (most other complexes in the area don't charge you a pest fee. My husband and I have been searching elsewhere). Oh and while I'm on the subject, FEES, don't get duped like we did. The price they quote you for rent is not all you'll end up paying. You would need to add a $40 cable fee you are forced to pay even if you don't want the cable. You have a water fee, sewer fee, trash fee, and pest fee. In the end it's really not worth it. The cost you end up paying here, you could've rented a much nicer luxury apartment for about the same rate. If you're not renting one of their upgraded models you get stuck with ugly old appliances that are way out-dated. In our unit we have one of the oldest and smallest refrigerators I've ever seen. The only appliance that's decent is the dishwasher. And last but not least, I know I've overloaded you with alot, the apartment it self sucks. The walls are so thin, we hear absolutely everything. And I mean everything, such as other tenants tv, dogs, and even when other tenants are being intimate. Don't let the manicured lawn, nice pool, and gym fool you as it did us because at the end of the day, the comfort in your own home is what matters the most, and you simply won't get that here. We can't wait for our lease to be over.
