Since the new property manager, Emily, was hired this complex has improved so much!!! Negative: The rent price is too high for the out dated interior. The rent has increased $200 every year I've lived here. They did add new keyless/smart locks (use a code to enter and tou can assign a code for members of your family or temporary codes for a dog walker/house sitter/etc), a smart AC unit (set temps to change duringtheday or time time if you want, and it keeps track of the humidity level), and 2 light switches that turn your kitchen & dining room lights off after a few minutes of them being on (I actually don't like this function because I'll be cooking & my light will just turn off while I'm in the kitchen). But I don't think those new items are worth the $400 extra I'm spending on rent - I'd rather have a key to my front door & save $400 a month. The counter tops/cabinets are really old and the wood on the back porch is rotting in a few areas.The "dog park" is just a field gated off but half the field floods and ends up muddy. Positive: Smart/Keyless locks are really great if you have kids- they dont have to worry about losing a key. You can check the app & monitor when they open/lock the door. Maintenance gets things fixed in a timely manner. The new front desk & management is amazing all the way around!!! It's a very safe community! Kids all play together, all ages have fun together. Great school district too! Target, Walmart, multiple grocery stores, and restaurants are just a few minutes away. It's a quite community (except for literally ONE family that brought 20people to late night parties during the summer). Overall, besides the rent prices for the outdated interior- this really is a great place to live in Cary.

    It's been the worse experience ever! The office manager was the one that gave me the tour to my apartment. She told me that the apartment was newly renovated with all new appliances. Shortly after my second month of living here, the washing machine broke. It took over 2 months to get that replaced. Then the dishwasher, refrigerator, stove, one toilet, 4 broken doors, mold in the pantry, A/C busted and leaked to the bottom floor, mold on ALL the windows (took 7 months before they fixed the mold issues!!!), Constantly dealing with roaches, nats, and now millipedes are infesting the whole apartment. It's not just my apartment it's this whole building. And from talking to other residents, everyone has had issues like this. The manager got fired because she was stealing money. The only way to get anything done was to contact corporate, and even then it is the bare minimum. They have now recently started to say that they have completed work orders, but it has been over 2 months and no one has been to my apartment to actually actually work on the issues. So I have to constantly put a new work orders because they just close them out and don't actually do anything. The front desk never answers the phone, returns voicemails, or emails. The only way you can get up with anyone is to walk into the front office yourself. Our trash compactor has been broken, so there is a large mountain of trash sitting outside of it. The apartment complex has not even sent out an email saying that it is broken or when it will be fixed. When talking to the office or MMA corporation, they just tell me that they will let me out of my lease, but I would have to pay to move to another MMA property. Even though the only reason I want out of my lease is because of the constant maintenance issues. I shouldn't have to pay over a thousand dollars to pay for new apartment applications, down payments, movers.....when MMA can't keep their part of the lease. I will absolutely NEVER live in another MMA property! PLEASE ask several residents about their experiences before renting here!!! It's an absolute nightmare here!!!!

    This has been the WORSE experience ever! I was 1st told that I was moving into an updated apartment with new appliances. But within 6minths the following broke: washing machine, dish washer, refrigerator, stove, AC was leaking and caused a large mold issue and they had to cut part of a wall out. Nothing was fixed for several months even after the office manager promise to fix things several different times. Now I'm still dealing with bugs (roaches, ants, nats) all my windows have been covered in mold since October (it's almost June) and I have over 10 work orders not completely after several months, about 40+ emails from the office manager about how they are going to send maintenance over to fix issues, but they never show. Plus the rent goes up $150-250/month every year! The pool opens up late every year, and ends up closing constantly. The front desk never answer the phone either. Please, PLEASE run!!!!! Do not rent these apartments! I wish I could afford to pay movers and a new deposit at another property. This is a horrible community to live in all because the maintenance is never done, if they get to your work order it ends up breaking again shortly or they just did a half job, big issues all year long and office manager lies constantly.

    I've personally had a rough time here. I was told I was renting an apartment with new appliances. But nothing was new and within a few weeks of moving in, things starting breaking. Management did nothing! I finally went to MMA & they fixed everything within 2weeks. I've dealt with 4broken appliances, broken/leaking toilets several times, massive mold issue that I've dealt with for the past 6months and they still aren't doing anything about. They can't keep staff at the front desk or in maintenance. I'm on the verge of contacting MMA again because nothing ever gets done here!

    I had a horrible experience for the first 8months of living here. I was told we had new appliances in the apartment. The stove, washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator, toilet, 3doors had to be replaced after several months of waiting to get the broken things fixed. I also had a severe mold issue in the pantry closet and now around all of the windows. Front office never answer the phones. They can't keep maintenance staff so it takes months before work is completely. I had to contact corporate to get anything done. Finally everything was replaced. The only remaining issue is the severe mold issue around all the windows. The neighborhood is amazing though, lots of kids for my son to play with...all of them are respectful and all play well together. Great school district and Very safe community, that is the reason we stayed. The office manager has helped to finally get everything replaced and has great communication through email. We definitely had a very rocky start when moving here. It took 8months before they finally fixed all the issues and replaced so many broken appliances (that they said we're brand new when I signed the lease). We are still waiting for the window mold issue to be addressed, I'm assuming it will take several months before it's actually fixed as well. The apartments are definitely old and out dated, but the community is extremely safe. Since I have a child, safety is my number one concern. Since most of the issues have finally been fixed, I just signed another lease.
