Move in a year and a half ago was smooth thanks to office staff. My building and the ones surrounding are quiet, and I feel safe here. Neighbors are friendly and there's a small group of dog owners that hang together and let their dogs run together while they chat. Dog run is directly behind my unit which is convenient as I myself am a dog owner. One con is that doggy potty stations throughout complex and inside dog run are not often emptied; generally left unattended by maintenance to empty receptcles of waste, and rolls of poop bags for clean up are rarely replaced. Over all generally happy living here. Unit was fairly updated upon move in; clean; a few issues with old plumbing which, when notifying maintenance, they are quick to respond and address. The grounds are clean and well kept. Currently undergoing external renovations of buildings, landscaping, and fitness center. Price point seems average for the area - which is too high and rising - but that is true for all growing areas of Charlotte. The safety, overall cleanliness, quiet, and friendly neighbors are reasons why I'm willing to pay current going rate. Office staff is friendly, and have always been helpful on the rare occasions I've needed them. A bit concerned about rent increase I expect at the end of my lease term in six months following new property ownership and renovations. Hoping any rise in cost will not outweigh the efforts to increase curb appeal as no actual upgrades or renovations will be done to my unit itself. Overall I have been happy here and as long as the price is right I plan to renew lease for a third year.
