This is 2011, let's change our thinking.
I am thinking about transitioning from the Washington DC area to Charlotte. Over the last several months, I have visited a number of properties in the Charlotte area. During a most recent trip to Charlotte, I visited the Post Park Phillips. I was very impressed with the model as I probably should have been. The staff representative was very friendly and accomodating. However, an eyebrow was raised by me when I didn't notice much diversity within the community nor in the area in general. Coming from a place where for the most part, diversity is a welcomed attribute to most communities. After touring the premises, I said to my friend, "am I being paranoid or was there no evidence of diversity?" After reading these reviews, I'm not sure I would call it paranoia. It's important for me to be comfortable in the place I choose to reside. If any of these comments are true and not just the opinions of a few disgruntled tenants, I would encourage the Post Park Phillips to take a closer look at their practices. In the meantime, I will continue to look for my next home as Charlotte has a lot of wonderful properties to choose from.9/19/2011
