Don't live here. Seriously. Maintenance requests - and there will be a lot, it's an old property - take forever to resolve. Even the "emergencies" as detailed in your lease are ignored - I've had to wait on mold, broken HVAC, water line outages, and even major appliances. Walls are cheap and thin and I can hear when my upstairs neighbors cough, flush, and walk around. The leasing office staff is completely inept. They won't tell you important things like that UPS isn't picking up any more and they'll leave your packages just sitting for weeks by a door that's unlocked during business hours (that's happened several times). They don't check address labels and put packages you're mailing out back in the mail closet so that they can't be picked up by the shipping companies. Packages go missing. You can only access your packages during office hours, and only if someone happens to be in the office and not showing an apartment which they usually are on the weekends. The property instated an incredibly stupid parking pass system and all the guest spaces are far away from building doors, so I hope your guests enjoy walking across half the property in the dark. When they changed the gates and we all had to get new access remotes, they made the change around 5 pm on a Friday and then all the staff left. Lo and behold, the new remotes didn't work, and anyone who happened to not be home (which was most of us, since it was a workday) was locked out of the property for over 2 hours until someone could get the emergency maintenance line to respond. None of this is shared over the residents email newsletters, the leasing office doesn't like to update you on anything that would actually be informative or that could show their mistakes. The "gym" is a basement with some exercise equipment in it and two TVS which usually don't work. My rent increase was over $120/month this past year. The price I'm paying for an apartment this old and a staff this unhelpful is absurd. The only thing Post Park has going for it is the Southpark location, but there are now plenty of other apartments and most are much nicer and newer. Go live at any of those instead.
