Rip off in the name of Month-to-Month
I lived in this community for about a year had no issues, however the real trouble pops up when your lease ends. For job related reasons I was not able to sign a long term lease and requested for month-to-month. To my surprise they charged a whopping premium of $350 for that. I could not believe paying $1080 for a small apartment for which I was paying $730. Many of my colleagues were in the same situation and in other communities there were paying just 50 to 100 dollars as premium for month to month. Is this a punishment for moving into this community ? Apartment seekers should insist the management to state the exact premium in the agreement so that the tenants will not be taken for a ride at the end. I do not have any complaints about the property quality, maintenence staff or office staff.8/18/2024
