My husband and I have lived here at The Vinoy since May 2015 and have enjoyed it very much. The leasing office staff is always helpful, friendly and polite. The maintenance staff does a great job at staying on top of any issues that come up in a timely manner and they are quite knowledgeable. I know that many of the residents are upset lately because of recent crime in the community but I point out that these are recent incidents and I would not be surprised when they find out who is doing these robberies to find out it is the same group of individuals who keep coming back. Once the police catch these criminals, I believe we will go back to the low crime rate we enjoyed before. The other thing that residents are complaining about is that the leasing staff does not care and is not doing anything. THAT IS NOT FAIR!!! We have no way of knowing what is going on behind closed doors in the office. Again, I point out that these are RECENT incidents and -------------- cannot make anything happen overnight. -------------- have managers who have owners all of whom must be gone through to get anything done. If Sara gets permission to do something then she has to get estimates from various vendors and this all takes time. All of upper management has to explore all options and we have no idea what is being done. To accuse ------------ of not being concerned for us is WRONG! I believe they are extremely concerned for us and our safety. Why not give them the opportunity and the time to get a solution in place.
If you are a prospective resident and you want to know what The Vinoy is really like go back and read the reviews from November 2015 and before. Living here has not changed except for the few incidents that we have had and I am very sure the leasing staff and management are doing all they can to resolve these problems. Let's calm down and give them a chance.
