Just too many break ins. Residents are very scared. For the price we pay, it is currently not worth it. Rents have increased recently, but appropriate measures haven't been taken up. They are renovating the leasing office. I am not sure how this is more important than making it a gated community? Even the cops who have come for a meeting agreed that Gates would be a deterrent for the crimes that are happening. It is just too easy for someone to come in and commit a crime. Even the kids from nearby school are robbing people at gun point here. Is the management is waiting for someone to die before they do anything?

Hi Anonymous, we appreciate you taking the time to respond. The staff at The Vinoy at Innovation Park Apartments take our reviews very seriously. Our Clubhouse renovation is now over and hope that you as well as the entire community are able to enjoy it. Our clubhouse is by no means more important that the gate the community has requested, however per Charlotte Police Department they are no longer authorizing permits for access gates to any apartment community. we have however hired Signal 88 and we have our courtesy officer who lives on site. We are also establishing a close relationship with Vance High school in order to prevent children from coming over.
