River Rock at Dallas has met and surpassed our expectations of a 55+ community! Floor plan was just what we were looking for. We were happy to be in a smaller neighborhood and we’ve been lucky with great neighbors and new friendships. Unit and neighborhood amenities, like LVP floors throughout, convenient appliance packages and spacious rooms; as well as, dog park, nature trail, lifestyle villa and access to Dallas Park. Best of all is the staff! Heather and Dillon in leasing office are always happy to make themselves available to residents. Gary, our maintenance specialist is an absolute lifesaver. We could not be happier!

It's been a year now and we just would like to see the major projects finished, which haven't been touched really since last fall. The access point to exit to a stoplight on Eden Allen Glen has become a city issue based on the 2 town hall meetings we have attended. Something is wrong. Also with the Villa, just wishing some fitness equipment could be added to there to make it more viable. The residents here are often secluded in their own homes and do their own thing for privacy and can be respected for that.

Entrance to the community from the highway .. the traffic pattern is dangerous. We have really friendly neighbors . The quiet atmosphere and the interaction of everyone makes for a very pleasant lifestyle. I look forward to the completion of the grounds , the dog trail , etc.

We have only been here a few weeks, but have found it to be comfortable and pleasant. I'm enjoying the safety of the community and the cleanliness of the neighborhood. The management staff has been very helpful and friendly.

Great place to live from location. Price is a high for Dallas, NC (prices at coast are same as here). Lovin all the residents and some great dog people. Still some ongoing issues for site completion that are being resolved. Town and developer working on solution. Doesn't affect liveability here just can't get project over the finish line

We just took possession of the unit on August 27 and received our household good on September 1. Still un packing. Have not had any maintenace requirements. However, I have not been contacted about the the house door from the garage that ihas a big dent in midded of the door.

River Rock is clean, quiet and well maintained. The staff members are all capable, professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. I wish I was allowed to install better locks, in order to enhance my security. The installed locks are simple and easily defeatable.

We are really enjoying this community. we have only been here a few days, but we would love to see an access to the Walmart beside the community so that we don't have to get out on the busy road as it can be challenging turning left out of the complex.

I am very happy to be here this is a wonderful and welcoming community everything is beautiful clean quiet everything that I was looking for I could not ask for anymore I believe that this is a place to be if you just want to get away from everything but have everything around you, Just the quietness of the place is very welcoming.

At this time I am unable to give a complimentary review and recommendation regarding the community due to the on going issues with the USPS and Utilities. There has been NO follow up from the local level and I have gone to the next level to try and resolve these two remaining issues. After talking with Maintenance (Gary), we have determined that the extremely low water pressure in the showers are a result of the “water saver” shower heads. I replaced one shower head and the other shower head is on order. In my opinion, this issue has been/will be resolved once the second shower head is installed. The grounds are a work in progress but the lake/pond AND the Dog Park are “under construction”. Lots of dirt, dust and mud when it rains. As far as the grounds/upkeep, the plants are too close together and the plants/bushes have “black spot”—which I mentioned but nothing was done by the lawn maintenance people. I went to Southern States with pictures and I bought something to spray on the plants to rid/prevent black spot. The location is great. Right across from the Citizens Resource Center and park that has several lakes for fishing, Walking trails, water splash park for children, etc. we are before the Neighborhood Walmart, close to Food Lion and Ingles Market. Also several restaurants are located close to the community—maybe a 5 minute drive. Great location overall. As far as safety we are still “new” and I don’t feel a rating can be issued at this time. I do feel safe here but we still have construction traffic in/out and new people moving in so in my opinion “we are still too new” to determine a true safety rating.
