The experience was great with the prior management group but a lot of letdown with the new management group. The maintenance department is lacking now, the quality of tenant has suffered, the community utilizing events are no existing, no pool, no community grill, old, illegal vehicles proliferate the complex, and the trash pick up is pathetic.

*** DO NOT MOVE HERE ***
**** DO NOT MOVE HERE **** My AC broke on 5/31, submitted a Work order through the portal to be fixed. Left for the weekend, came back on Sunday June 2nd and noticed that maintenance had entered my home (without alerting me) and installed an AC window unit in my living room. I was upset that they didn’t contact me first, but grateful for the window unit. According to my work order, the AC should have been fixed on June 4th. My elderly mother stayed in my apartment while I went to work in case the maintenance crew showed back up. Nobody did. On June 5th, I contacted the front office and asked them when my AC was going to be fixed. I was told that because my AC unit needs to be replaced they are not sure when it will be fixed because they are waiting on a contractor. Told me it could be Friday or next week, who knows. I’m starting to think they don’t pay their contractors by how slow things move here. ON TOP OF THAT, My apartment is right next to the trash and as of today (June 6th) the trash has not been picked… See More>6/7/2024

Stay away, we're homeless because of them
My wife, 15 month old son, and I are homeless because of The Hargrove at Southpoint! We began the process of finding a new place in April, found The Hargrove at Southpoint, applied snd were approved. We needed a May 31st move in date and were told that was fine, they had a unit for us so we signeda lease. We paid our security deposit in mid May we set up gas, electric, and internet as per the terms of the lease we signed to start on the 30th. We also prepaid our 1st month's rent in mid May. Fast forward to May 30th, and I get a text from them saying "Good afternoon, I wanted to reach out to confirm that the leasing agent had reached out to let you know you would not be able to move in 5/31". I immediately called them, I was told that The Hargrove at Southpoint had never signed the lease on their end and that they have no legal responsibility to help us. I asked for financial compensation for a hotel and was denied. I was offered a $200 credit for my first month's rent and was told that potentially our move… See More>6/5/2024

Mice! Keep Looking
Keep looking! I have been quiet but this getting out of hand. Since the purchase of this property by S2, this neighborhood has gone downhill. My building has mice. Rather than fix the issue, management has asked my neighbors to keep asking for glue traps to catch them themselves because maintenance is swamped with requests. You will also need to request bug spraying instead of them doing it on a consistent basis which means if your neighbor isn’t keeping up with it along with you, you’ll still have pests because these apartments are nestled amongst the woods. I truly feel sorry for the new maintenance men but living with pests, while paying these prices is unacceptable. While we are on the topic of maintenance, I had a water stain appear on my ceiling. When maintenance came in they painted over the stain and said “now you don’t have a stain”. I asked about fixing the leak that was causing the stain, it’s been 4 months. I guess maintenance is still “backed up.” Now let’s talk trash. Instead of fixing the issue which is strangers driving up onto the property and using our compactor as a public compactor, they placed large… See More>anonymous

Poor Business
Pictures speak volumes about a business. The website says things like, “luxury living, indulgent details and stylish interiors.” False advertising to say the least. I am extremely disappointed in this business and the way it is run. If small businesses ran this way, they would be out of business. I did not sign up to pay 1405 per month for “habitable” living. I signed up for “luxury, indulgent and stylish.” I signed up for peace of mind and great customer service. Unfortunately, this business greatly let me down.

Great quiet community with lots of dogs! I love that I can live here peacefully with my two great danes. Everyone in the community is kind and respectful and the staff is very helpful. The dog park is a huge plus and there's a lovely secluded trail and creek in the back for peaceful walks

Researched all from California. Great online presence. Staff quick to respond to application. People here are friendly. Wish I could have travelled with my pet, however, she doesn't do well with many car rides. This car drive was 4 days long

My experience thus far has been an amazing experience. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are friendly. Maintenance team are both sufficient and effective. Leasing office staff are welcoming.

No problem with the community. The management is not very friendly or approachable with concerns. They do, however, respond quickly to emails. Maintenance is wonderful. The community overall is not very quiet. I have complained about noise, and was told to call public safety. The community grounds and corridors are poorly lit.

So far, the place seems great. Some loud neighbors but quiet during the night so I really dont mind! The apartment itself looks sleek and nice inside especially with the fireplace. Immediately felt like home.

The complex is ok over time provided there are no major issues. When the window was broken when other work was being done there were issues. The AC has been an issue over time for about 6-12 months. The building is 35 yrs old and they spend this money to remodel these, mine is an older one, but a permanent solution still hasn't been found to fix this. People here seem ok, the apartment office has had terrible people working in there, it's better now, but this is not one of the better places I have lived. The location is the only real draw here frankly.

Pam is a really nice lady and she spoke highly of the community, which I think led me and my fianc? to rent here. Our one bed room is a decent price as well, and they had an apartment available for around the time we were looking to move. But now I'm kind of regretting the decision of moving here and I just pray this year goes by fast. When we moved in I was very discouraged because the apartment was much smaller than what we were told. The outlets need to be replaced because as soon as you plug something in it just falls out. They had to come replace the tub walls because it was brown stuff coming from them and the water in the shower doesn't get hot at all. We have to pay for gas, which includes the hot water heater but I don't even get hot water when I'm taking a shower. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, but the apartments aren't good quality and need some more work done.

We lived at Southpointe while we began our search for a home. We stayed about six months and found it a Wonderful experience. The units are generous, the office staff are welcoming and responsive and the maintenance staff are incredibly responsive and very effective.

Generally quiet, very nicely appointed apartments, well maintained exteriors, great and responsive office staff. Incredibly helpful with move-in (I'm from out of state). Pet friendly complex with dog park. Very close to major highways and shopping.

Bridges at Southpoint is actually a friendly world. I reach out to the community with positive feedback. I'm in my 3rd Apt. in 8 years. Extremely pet friendly world here! I have a periodically loud pet and I always let my neighbors know that I'm Extremely approachable.

I haven't lived in an apt. for 45 years. Don't have experiences to compare. I enjoy living here and everything is wonderful. I said all I needed to say in less than 200 characters. I would like to go now.

Its a good neighborhood. We love to have the opportunity to be able to walk around with out dog and enjoy the dog park. We also enjoy being close to the mall, grocery stores, restaurants and access to the 40.

Very interactive and user friendly layout. Sometimes staff in the leasing office can be rude. Overall the community is nice and what sold me was the layout and modern amenities inside of my specific apartment.

Bridges at southpoint has new amenities and clean upkeep. The office staff is helpful and proactive at solving my problems. The application and move in process was much easier than other places I looked at.
