Roaches
Before moving into unit #1818 of building 1200 on 1/15/26, I spotted multiple tiny bug carcasses throughout the unit. Soon after, I began seeing live bugs. After witnessing the live bugs, I researched and soon learned that these were actually SMOKY BROWN COCKROACHES AND NYMPHS. I immediately contacted the office on 1/24/26. I spoke with Riley and informed the office of the live roaches and requested pest control. I provided detail regarding the ongoing daily presence of multiple smoky brown cockroach nymphs and adults throughout the unit. I informed the office of sighting multiple nymph carcasses throughout the unit before I moved in. I was hoping for an aggressive treatment at that time due to continuous sightings of live nymphs which indicate an active breeding issue within or around the unit. The issue progressed and pest control came out a second time on 2/2/26 and provided standard treatment. Due to the lack of improvement in roach activity, I called the office on Sunday Feb 8th. I desperately requested a new unit as living conditions were unbearable. I was told I would hear back from Beth the following Monday, Feb. 9th with apartment options. I did not hear back on Monday with apartment options. I was only offered pest control again. I declined due to not being home, failed previous pest control visits, and a focus on simply moving to a new unit. I was then told I’d hear back from Beth on Tuesday with apartment options. I did not hear back on Tuesday. No apartment options were given during the time frame promised. Due to a lack of urgency and no further communication from the office, on Feb 12, I informed the office that I’d be moving as my physical and mental health were in major jeopardy. I began moving my things out. I attempted to call twice, but no one answered. I emailed the office on Feb 12 at 12:04 pm. I finally heard from Beth via email on Feb 12th at 6:09 pm after hours to confirm I could move to a new unit. However, I’d already begun moving out and no details were given regarding the available unit number and an available move in date. Due to the discomfort and sanitation hazard, I never fully unpacked all of my things. On average, I’d witness about 10-12 roaches per day. I’ve purchased multiple bottles of raid and boric acid in an attempt to mitigate the issue. Living amongst roaches has been extremely devastating. I constantly cleaned roach fecal matter from the counters and flooring. They’d fall from the ceiling. They would nestle in the sink and my dish wear. I experienced persistent anxiety, insomnia, and respiratory issues. My official move out date was 2/15/2026. It’s sickening to know I’m being charged lease break fees for an issue that I did not cause. The office had multiple chances to fix the issue. The lease was broken due to a lack of urgency from Beth regarding the roaches. Unit 1818 should’ve been thoroughly inspected by management before being approved to market for lease. This was the most TRAUMATIZING and DISAPPOINTING living experience I’ve ever had. I would not wish this on anyone. P.S. During my time as a resident, I had to call 3-4 times before someone answered. On multiple occasions, I’ve had to call from an alternate number just so they would answer as they actively avoid answering resident calls. I expected more professionalism from the front office and management. *The second star is for the kindness Brittany showed during my move in. Her support was very much appreciated.

Severe Second Hand Smoke Infestation
There should be a zero star options. LC Brier Creek is the worst place I have ever lived. We have such a severe second hand smoke issue in our apartment it is unlivable and management has done nothing to resolve it. It is clear that both the upstairs and downstairs neighbors smoke. A total of five adults contributing to the infestation of noxious second hand smoke. It is so bad that you can smell it just walking by the windows of the downstairs neighbors. As I sit and write this at 7:10 a.m. on Sunday, I can smell cigarette smoke in my bedroom/office where I work from home. It is: god-awful, unbearable, toxic, disgusting, suffocating, and a direct violation of the lease terms. The issue started in April, it is now June. We will be breaking our lease and eating the cost to get out of this hell hole.
