My husband and I lived here for 2 years and we have a dog. She was a puppy when we got her, so she had a few accidents, which were promptly deep cleaned with a machine. Interestingly, all the accidents were in the same place. When we moved out, we cleaned the apartment and left it better looking than it was when we moved in, including the carpet. During the inspection, the management brought a black light to shine on the carpet and found 2 small spots in the living room. He immediately said that our dog damaged the carpet and that we owed over $600 for the carpet to be completely replaced!! He claimed that the carpet was new when we moved in, which it definitely wasn't, and the location of the spots were not where our dog went to the bathroom. I don't know what caused the spots, but it definitely wasn't us. We payed a pet fee when we got our dog and you would think, since they claim our dog did the damage, that the fee would be put toward what we owed...not true. That money is gone, and they can't even tell me what it went toward. I agree with the review that they nail you in the end with outrageous costs. If you pay a security deposit or pet fee, don't count on getting it back, regardless of the condition of your apartment. And totally unrelated, the walls are so thin you can hear everything (and I mean *everything*) that your neighbors are doing. Most of the staff is professional, except one of the managers, ----, who treats residents she thinks are young like children...very disrespectful to a healthcare professional. If I had it to do over again, I would not live here and I would never recommend it to anyone based on the noise and the move-out problems.
