Great location, but worst experience. While the building is beautiful, I unfortunately lived at Berkshire Cameron Village for one year. Issues began at move-in when the leasing office was closed and I was unable to get into my apartment. Upon entering, it was dirty and still needed the main wall painted.
Next the fire alarms. Numerous other residents have commented on the unheard of amount of fire alarms that go off, hopefully they are fixed now, but during my stay residents had to exit the building in the middle of the night at least 12 TIMES! This means getting dressed for the cold, rain, whatever the weather may be and sitting on a curb outside. This issue was getting better towards the ending of my lease.
The next issue happened when pipes leaked in the parking garage on my car ruining the paint and costing $3,000 in damages. This can be confirmed by numerous other residents who faced the same issue.
Work orders take forever to be fixed, I submitted six work orders for the same issues, had a broken toilet in my studio apartment and was told it was a non-emergency meaning i had to use the club house bathroom for 24 hours.
Finally, what has sent me over the edge is the collection bill just received. I moved out in may and in writing gave Megan, the property manager, my forwarding address. Once turning in my keys I received no other correspondence since my move-out, until yesterday. A collection bill after never receiving a bill, never getting a list of what is being charged, and no proof, all of which is required by law. Do yourself a favor - GO ELSEWHERE
