Beautiful location. Terrible management. I have been a resident since February 2017, and was ecstatic to move into the Berkshire Cameron Village apartments. Based on the brochure, the location, the tour - this seemed like the place to be, and something worth the steep price point. Unfortunately, over the past 7 months, management has been nothing short of atrocious. Here are a few things that have happened during my time here: - When I moved in, I spoke to 4 different employees, put in multiple work orders, and it still took Berkshire Cameron Village a full month to give me a mail key. - Things are consistently breaking - the elevators, the coffee machine. Our fire alarms go off constantly. Maintenance checked out our alarms, told us everything was fine, and then that night we were woken up again at 3am to our alarms going off unexpectedly. - I put in a work request on my sink, and was told it would be fixed within 1-2 days. It took 10 days and me following up with 3 phone calls and 2 voicemails. - Part of our rent money goes towards monthly events - this is what was promised when I signed my lease, and so far we have had 2, one of which I never received an invitation for, and when I tried to sign up I was told, as a resident, I could not attend because it was "full" - The gym, which is a beautiful facility, was without towels for about 2 months. - The trash room, this past weekend, was overflowing. This is not the first time this has happened. A friend of mine works at the restaurant beneath our building and the customers/employees have been complaining about the smell. ----------------, the property manager here, refuses to answer emails or return phone calls when we voice any of these concerns. She is basically a ghost, and is impossible to reach. We are paying for a luxury apartment, and we are not getting what we pay for. I unfortunately will not be renewing my lease when it is up in February. Each resident I have become friends with in the building shares a similar sentiment that this is a beautiful residence but management is the reason that we are being driven away.
