I love my unit. The general location is handy for NC State, where I work. The grounds are nicely kept, with many mature trees and some natural areas. Maintenance responses are prompt. However, communications with the office are always challenging.

Very Nice community. Staff is very helpful and friendly. My son an I love the pool. We have really enjoyed our new home here. Friendly neighbors and lots of restaurants and things to do nearby. I would recommend Madison hunters Glen!

I feel safe living here. Outdoor community amenities are clean and easy to access. We have great neighbors here. The residence services staff are amazing people! The maintenance team always makes a timely response to requests and they are thorough in their work. These apartments are spacious and the rates are the best value in Raleigh. You also get convenient access to the GoRaleigh bus line.

Positive for the most part, but I am unhappy that the mailboxes were left outside for over a week while the new ones were installed. My own was stolen over the weekend because of this, and I did not know mine for sure was taken until checking for myself.

It's nice to live here. Everything is accessible within 5-mile radius. no major problem faced by the time I have been here. Maintenance and office staff is prompt on any issue reported. one thing which is a downside is the annual lease rent hike unreasonable.

Whenever I put in a maintenance request, I never hear back the office telling me that they have looked into or fixed my problem. Also, my rent went up again, and i haven't seen a bug guy here in well over a year. Why does my rent go up, but you cut promised services?

Was great until our mailboxes got stolen and they did nothing to fix the problem except send a generic email and not showing up to work. Also, I pay $ every month towards pest control and yet still have cock roaches show up in my apartment.. I have put in a maintenance request but never heard back.

Outdated and over priced. Rent continues to go up despite no upgrades. Cockroaches all over outside especially at night time. Dog poo and trash throughout the community. I would not recommend to friends or family.

The community at Madison is pleasant, quiet and close to nearly anything you could want to do, whether that be shopping or hanging out downtown. The largest issues come in the form of rent and what you get for your money. The "outdoor gym" is little more than a few outdoor pieces that are mostly uncovered, subjecting it to the elements and being unimpressive at best. The apartments themselves still come with appliances that look like they're from the early 2000's, (in the case of the washer/dryer ay least) the inside of the apartments look like they need a lot of touching up and improving in terms of design, paint and fixtures, and the cost of the apartments needs to lower to match what residents are given, which is far less than what's on offer. And bring bug spray, you'll need it.

The maintenance staff is phenomenal. They are very responsive and are always friendly and courteous. The office staff however are not helpful at all. They do the minimum in seeing that the concerns of the residents are addressed and do not seem knowledgeable at all when it comes to solving problems and issues. There either needs to be more training administered or a change in personnel. The community itself is very quiet and people pick up after themselves for the most part. Management is always upgrading and keeping the apartments in good order. Aside from the office staff, I really love living here.

I would not recommend this complex to anyone. Management is horrible. They lack communication that includes maintenance. I've been here for years and nothing is improving but the increase of rent. Not happy at all

Overall, I have been pleased with this complex. Quiet and conveniently located, it has met my needs. Maintenance is exceptional. The front office can be difficult to communicate with and do not seem to keep on top of work/paperwork, particularly in advance of move in.

Pest control sucks and there are an extreme amount of insects including ants, spiders, and roaches of all sizes. On several occasions we put in maintenance requests and were told nothing was wrong. Water management was subpar so it washes away mulch, prevents grass growth and causes erosion. It also leads to standing water on side walks. The mailboxes are now enclosed with only 1 enterance which is very u safe considering ive already but targeted at the mail boxes by an aggressive man "complimenting" me but i could still leave out the other side if that happened again-i would be trapped. Layout of the apartment is good. Screened porch is nice. Packages get stolen often.

It's quiet, convenient to shopping, and overall pleasant. The staff is quick to respond and Brittany & Jennifer are so nice! There are updates slowly coming in over the years that I have been here, so I am happy to see those changes. Maintenance is always quick and efficient.

My experience has been neutral. Initially, I had some very unpleasant neighbors that were constantly fighting and calling the cops on each other. Since they have left, it has been better. The extremely thin walls and ceilings are awful and awkward, but it's typical of every apartment. Maintenance has been responsive. However, most recently, there is a terrible infestation of small roaches in my unit. Terminix has come through twice and I have set up my own traps and I am still finding them all over the unit, which I keep extremely clean. Additionally, I have asked for my inefficient and very old HVAC unit to be replaced (it is clearly way beyond its estimated useful life of 20 years), because my electricity bill is through the roof and I only turn the AC on at night. I have gotten radio silence regarding this request. Lastly, the trash and dog poop around the community is disgusting. This needs to be better. Overall, I am satisfied with what I pay for rent and with the size of my unit, but things can be better.

It's good value for the money. The units are older but clean. Some of the residents can be a bit loud at times but nothing terrible. The office staff was excellent pre-covid, now, there are no services provided -- like package receipt. There are porch pirates operating in the complex so that was a wonderful service. Maintenance is very responsive - surprisingly so - that's a strong point for the complex. Overall, not a bad place to live -- what it's lacking as far as amenities, it makes up for in price and service to the residents.

When I applied to this apartment, I was verbally told that I do not meet the requirement. So I was asked to pay $200 for processing fee. Also since it was an urgent to move into apartment, there was extra $500 in cash. After I got 2sets of keys, I was told that I had to pay $500 more. However I pulled my own report from the company and it says I met background requirements and must pay 1month worth of security deposit which i did pay 1month worth of security deposit. If I followed exactly what report states I was wondering what was the reasons why I had to pay extra hundreds of dollars to move in... so I felt there was fraud. I tried to reach out to the office but never got a respond for my emails. I felt, if my concerns are not office's concern I never receive emails or call. It would be great if office can reach back out to answer residents respond, it would be much nicer.

I also lived in a 2-bedroom apartment from Sep. of 2014 until Sep. 30 of 2019, when I moved into a 1-bedroom apt. I like these apartments, particularly because each apt. has a washer-dryer in the apartment, a screened-in porch w/ a closet, and a pantry closet. The apartments here are all garden-type apartment buildings versus high-rise buildings. I had previously lived in high-rise apartments. The staff and maintenance people are friendly and quite responsive to one's needs. The complex also upgraded all the windows in the complex within a year and a half ago. An outdoor fitness area was also developed about the same time.

This community is very quiet, maintenance team keeps a high efficiency. The rent is great in this area, this community is pretty close to NC State University and some other entertainment facilities. Public transportation is also accessible.

I have the nosiest neighbors above me. They have young kids and no control over them. I don't mind children running and playing during the day, expected, but not 12, 1, 2, and 3 in the morning. I have been woking up in the middle of the night several times. I know people are sensitive about their children, but it's on the parents. They are young adults and seem to be struggling with being parents. Not really much I can say.
